Thread: Wi-Fi team, need help building, not completed

Hello! Would someone please help me in building my team? Btw, I'd like to point out that in addition to wanting to use these guys for Wi-Fi battling, I'd also enjoy using them in real life tournaments as well. Ya'know, the kind like you'd find over in New York City's conventions, or even the official Nintendo-held tournaments.


Now, I'd say its fair to admit that I'm one of these nostalgia lovers, specifically with any Pokemon 3rd gen or older. Its not that I don't *like* 4th & 5th gen per se, but rather... their connection with the anime's current setup, & the little matter of the B&W games' refusal to allow trades of older Pokemon before one completes the main storyline.

Now, I am willing to use certain ones, such as Roserade or say... Gallade, which is why they are in this set. But for the most part, I prefer them to have some sort of a connection with the originals. (anything Kanto through Hoenn, mainly)


Also, these are meant for battling on the Black & White games, both versions of the games.

Roserade @ Focus Slash

Starmie @ Damp Rock
Ability: Natural Cure

Tyranitar @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sandstorm

The parts where the slots are either not filled in or have things missing are ones I need help with.

Blaziken
Roserade


Otherwise, do as you see fit, as though you were building this team yourself. & feel free to modify these three in any possible manner, I'm very open to suggestions & critisim, as I know these will only help me get better in choosing my teams.


Keep in mind that I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this type of battling, & I just used the smogon.com website to get me where I am now.

P.S.~ I often build my teams based on cute-ness/looks, & while I know this isn't the best way, especially with gens 4 & 5, I just can't help myself, so yeah... :(

Well if you are going with A Moxie Salamence choice Scarf you best go with Adamant so you have max attack and none of your other stats will be lowered except Spc attack which you will not need.

Blaziken:
I'd go with Adamant on it instead of Jolly since Speed Boost will give it enough speed to do it's job. Adamant can make the difference between a KO and leaving it with a few HP.

Salamence:
Adamant would also be best here.

Starmie:
No need for Damp Rock as you don't have Rain Dance. Go with Leftovers or Life Orb.
Tbolt over Thunder and Rapid Spin over Psychic.

Tyranitar: I'd give it Stealth Rock for its last move.
