Yep, both of those facts are very true. Thundurus needs to be banned already.

It sucks that Garchomp is gone, but there are many viable options in Sand.

Thundurus is definately going to be gone in the next round of voting.

Because Drizzle was Politoed's only chance of being useful.

Drizzle isn't too bad with the swimmers gone. HP Fire still does a shitton most of the time.

Not exactly. Thundurus might not be banned considering a large majority disagree with that notion and are starting to point their rage at Drizzle once again. Not saying Thundurus won't be banned, but the major playing points seem to be focused on Drizzle none the less. If anything, Drizzle might be banned from OU play once and for all.

AFAIK, the majority of players still want to see Thundurus banned. Remember that the banning of Thundurus during this round of suspect voting only requires a simple majority of votes. That's definitely possible.

The fact that people abused Sand Veil with the SubSD set was the main factor that led to its ban, which I'm quite displeased with, aside from Sand Veil, Garchomp wasn't broken in the least. I wouldn't mind seeing Thundurus get banned, since it can manage to 2HKO Blissey with a +2 Focus Blast. There are ways of stopping it, like protect stalling, status and priority attacks, but it's a force to be reckoned with, nonetheless and since Garchomp, a Pokemon that can easily beat Thundurus, is now banned, it can only terrorize OU, more.

What are everyone's thoughts on Sun? Honestly I find it as bad as rain, especially with things like Sawsbuck running around and destroying it's enemies with ease, after a Swords Dance.

Garchomp wasn't a very good counter of Thundurus, I'd call it a check at best. Sun isn't as bad as rain as most of the Sweepers don't have a double-psuedoSTAB boost, with many of the sweepers being Grass Types.

While it's not a counter, ScarfChomp can at least revenge kill it easily, I may have worded that badly.

A Check is a reliable revenge-killer. Just a Competitive term that a few people aren't aware. Don't worry about it.

I can definitely see Archeops making it to OU in no time. That thing is the very definition of an awesome sweeper.

Except for Defeatist and a Stealth Rock weakness. Nope, not OU.

I agree. It falls way to easily, and is insanely weak after a priority attack. Azu CB Aqua Jet can make it virtually useless.
