Tentacruel wouldn't be an amazing Volcarona check if it doesn't carry Toxic, Haze or have Liquid Ooze. Uninvested Scald does laughable damage after a few Quiver Dances. Liquid Ooze, Hail damage and a much less effective Morning Sun in Hail does help combat it, but Volcarona can still do a good bit of damage and heal with Giga Drain in the mean time. Besides, using Tentacruel makes us use up our WC slot.

It's still an option, just not as good as it'd seem initially imo.

Tentacruel has a mustache I believe.

We should consider the worst case sceneria that Sun is up. In which case Haze is the best option to run on it.

    I like tentacruel.

    Tentacruel
    A: liquid ooze
    Naure: undecided (I vote modest)
EV: undecided (I'd go for sp.defence and sp.atk)
    Moves
    Giga drain
    rapid spin
    toxic spikes
    scald

    Any objections/suggestions?

That set really doesn't take advantage of Tentacruel's main assets.

    Tentacruel (F) @ Black Sludge
    Trait: Rain Dish
    EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spd
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Toxic Spikes/ Toxic
    - Rapid Spin
    - Scald
    - Blizzard/Protect/Toxic/Knock Off.

We could run more speed and special attack to take on specific threats to get more momentum but this leaves a decent base until we decide on the remaining members. It seems that we will be playing offense so Toxic and either Protect or Blizzard seem to be the best options for the slashes.

I just noticed that this guy doesn't have a mustache. He might not be the best wildcard choice.

For Aboma, another option is this:

    Abomasnow (F) @ Expert Belt
    Trait: Snow Warning
    EVs: 148 HP/ 252 Atk / 48 SAtk / 60 Spd
    Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
    - Wood Hammer
    - Ice Shard
    - Earthquake/Protect
    - Hidden Power [Fire].

This variations compromises speed for increased damage from the physical side. The evs allow you to out speed Scizor (So you can catch it on the U-Turn or Pursuit) whilst also landing a 2HKO on Ferrothorn. The lack of Protect loses a bit of utility but Earthquake can scare Heatran away so that it doesn't get a free hit on our team (It also means that Ninetails can't just freely come in on us).

Liquid ooze is better to combat ferrothornintheside. the problem with that is his weakness to grass.

I do like your Abomasnow though. I used to run mine with choice specs blizzard, but expert belt is good for combating most other weather teams with wood hammer I vote earthquake for facing sun teams.

Rain Dish is far superior because we need something that can come in on big water attackers in the rain and easy sponge hits. With Protect and Rain Dish Tentacruel can do that.

We should see what the rest of our team has before deciding over Earthquake or Protect because if we run Heatran as a wildcard we should run Protect to stack up Hail damage.

We should decide on non-wildcard members first really. Could we lay them all out in other threads and do some votes?

No need for other threads. Here's the list anyway:

    Kadabra and Alakazam
    - Magikarp and Gyarados
    - Magcargo
    - Raikou
    - Entei
    - Swalot
    - Whiscash
    - Sealeo and Walrein
    - Kricketune
    - Glameow and Purugly
    - Drapion
    - Probopass
    - Dewott and Samurott
    - Herdier and Stoutland
    - Liepard
    - Boldore and Gigalith
    - Jellicent (male)
    - Mienshao
    - Cobalion
    - Tornadus
    - Thundurus
    - Landorus
I like Walrein/Alakazam/Mienshao of them the best.

Other threads will reduce clutter and make it easier to vote on each individual position.

we already have mammoswine and abomasnow

we're still undecided for the wildcard but Mienshao would make a nice lead with fake out, flying gem acrobatics, drain punch and aura sphere

If you are going to run any kind of special move on Meinshao it would be HP Ice which is useless for a hail team. Hi Jump Kick is also superior to Drain Punch with Regenerator and No bulk.

I really like the Alakazam. Magic Guard LO Alakazam has the damage that we're currently lacking, plus immunity to hail. However, we really do need a Volcarona counter if Zam was brought in as well. I think a speedy Mienshao could work, perhaps a scout set up running a LO and Regenerator? Otherwise, the suggested Heatran walls Volcarona pretty well in my experience.

Scarf Mienshao could help deal with Volcarona and other sweepers, albeit things may need to be sacrificed instead to be able to bring it out.

once again Takaki has a point, but before you run Hi jump kick, we may need some gravity to cut the risk of injury

Gravity can be learned by alakazam dusclops, probopass, gigalith (is that a mustache?) and landorus

I think evolite dusclops would be a pretty awesome defencive stall, will-o-wisp to slow dow physical sweepers as well (except those with guts)

Gravity seems like a burden to run. Dusclops could have some use, but I have trouble to see its synergy with the team. And Hail isn't the best thing around.

Scarf Mienshao outspeeds +1 Volca anyway.
