Here's what my line up looks like so far:

    Tyranitar
    Sand summoner

    Reuniclus
    Fighting counter

    Ferrothorn
    Bulky Water counter

    Metagross
To cover the 4x Ice weakness of Landorus

    Landorus
    Sand Sweeper

& a Electric, Dragon or Bulky Water Pokemon, not yet determined.
I'm thinking Magnezone (Steel Trapper), Haxorus (Sword Dancing Wallbreaker), Hydreigon (special threat) or Milotic (resttalker). Any recommedations will be welcome.

I went to the pokecommunity (I'm Stoney the Togekiss there) & got some help & this was the line up they recommended...

    EDITED IN:
Gastrodon looks appealing, as well as Double Dance Haxorus...
& the all-out offensive set with Hydreigon looks great too... (my choice of item will be Expert Belt)
I'll continue my research at Smogon...

you can replace metagross for heatran. infact heatran will work better than metagross since it counters a lot of stuff like volcarona.

If you need a bulky water type and an electric type, then there is no need to look beyond rotom-w.

@General Volcano the only thing i tend to find metagross good for is the core of my time. when you get one up to 1600 attack and 954 speed, it really is a monster. thats not going to help you though. unless you're using trick room reuniclus.

if you're using trick room reuniclus, give metagross 0 speed IVs. he's not outspending anything anyway.

Metagross is good for setting up rocks too. And go with a Brave nature if you're planning on TR team.

    Ok, then I'm using Heatran!
(I was hoping to have a volcanic pokemon on my team for obivious reasons.)

    EDITED IN:
& I'll do research on Rotom-W. This may be the last you guys will see me for awhile, so PM any further comments & preferably, recommedations for my team to me & I'll answer when i can.

has anyone else had trouble with lots of disconnecting players in rated matches right as you are about to win?

my record looks terrible because I take the loss like a man, whether it was close or a blowout.

Erm...sorry if asking this here is incorrect, but may I ask about a banned combination?
See, why is Drizzle + Swift Swim is banned, while a similar combination can be done with Sand Stream + Sand Rush and Drought + Chlorophyll?

No, this is the correct place to ask such a question.

Swift Swim Pokemon have a considerable advantage over Chlorophyll and Sand Rush Pokemon. Swift swimmers have one of the best Stab attacks(water), which receives a further boost in the rain. Most Swift swimmers are already pretty fast which means that they become blindingly fast in the rain(like Kingdra, Floatzel and Kabutop) and water types also have better coverage than Grass and ground types. And this is the reason why it is banned.

Chlorphyll mons are generally grass types, who are:
    1) pretty slow to start with, so they can be revenge killed by scarfed mons even with the speed boost.
    2) have shallow movepools and terrible coverage.
    3) Grass attacks donot recieve a boost in the sun unlike water attacks in rain.
    4) have tonnes of exploitable weaknesses, most importantly fire.

As for Sand rush pokemon, there are only 3 which come to my mind:
    1) Excadrill: banned already.
    2) Sandslash: IIRC, its unreleased and even with sand rush, it is outspeeded and not good enough.
    3) Stoutland: Too weak.

So, chlorophyll + Drought and Sandstream + Sand Rush comboes are not banned since they have only a few abusers(unlike Swift swim which has tonnes of abusers) and neither of them are as gamebreakingly powerful as Drizzle + Swift swim.

Would this be a good moveset for a Drought Ninetales? Nasty Plot, Hypnosis, Fire Blast, and Solarbeam.
First I could use Hypnosis to make the enemy fall asleep, then use Nasty Plot a few times and defeat the enemy with Fire Blast or Solarbeam.

Uh, most of the set is pretty solid, except for Hypnosis. It has 60% hit chance, which is extremely low in this game. If I were you, I'd use something like a Hidden Power fighting, but if you're okay with low acc, then it's pretty much okay.

if you go with solar beam, i would suggest the sunny day set mentioned here.

Is having a ferrothorn with both stealth rock and spikes any good? And is it even possible to breed them both onto a ferroseed?

Yes, SR and Spikes are fine on the same set if your team needs it.

Yes, but not with Leech Seed.

@Pokestar it depends on what your team needs in my opinion.
