This may be too wide for a question, but...

I'm planning to EV train my Driftloon (later, a Driftblim). What will be the stats that would be recommended? It has a Rash Nature that raises Spec Attack and lowers Defense, I believe.
While at it, what moves would be good? I am planning to keep the Explosion in its moveset.

I know that this seems like a dumb question but...
does rest work when you have a choice item, and just used a different move?

@Mintaka: Go here. You'll find plenty of good options. If you want Explosion, the UU Lead set has it, I believe. You'll want a Mild nature, though.

@smartgamer: No, Rest wouldn't work in that situation. With Choice items you'll generally want to use four attacks in your moveset, unless one of them is Trick.
Current activity: Playing through Platinum for the first time.

    1. Find shiny Pokemon
    2. Determine Secret ID
    3. RNG to my heart's content!

What Despotar is correct. However, Pokemon with Natural Cure could use Rest/Choice to some success. I've seen Outrage/Rest/Natural Cure Altaria floating around.

If you want to run a support set with Jolly, I would suggest that you run more speed, max if it tickles your fancy. You should run at least 184 Speed to outrun base 90s, a little more if you fear speedy Uxie sets. That being said, I like the second set better than the first although I would personally put Thunder Wave over Roar.

Yeah, once you're done with EV training, you're safe to train your Pokemon til lv 100.

I was wondering if this would actually be useful in an OU battle. If it helps I have no physical sweepers/physical offensive pokemon on my team.
    Infernape
    Jolly
    Scope lense
    252 attack/252spd/4 hp
    Shadow claw
    Stone edge
    Blaze Kick
    U-turn

    1. Scope Lense isn't worth being paranoid of Stone Edge. Try a Life orb.

    2. No Fighting STAB?

    3. This is more of a scout then an attacker, if you didn't know.

A physically inclined Ape should run Close Combat / Thunderpunch for sure. Your Fire STAB depends on personal preference....you can run Flare Blitz although the recoil is not appealing or it can run Overheat and go mixed. Last slot can be Stone Edge or U-turn if you like.

I know Smogon has a (broken) calculator for Gen IV, but does anyone know if it was updated for Gen V? I want to run some Hihidaruma tests. (To see if Belly Drum is a possibility)

I don't know about the calculators, but with a beatable base 95 Speed, subpar defenses (which mar its great HP), a Stealth Rock weakness, and Salac Berry gone unavailable for now (Black/White only), Belly Drum is NOT a possibility for Hihi. Trust me.

Wait, why is the salac berry unavailable? Can't Dream World grow berries?
