I love to join a just-for-fun group for Pokémon battling! Usually, anytime I get a chance to battle someone, they're always those competitive types who talk about EV's and natures and all this other stuff that I truly never cared for. I would love to battle against people just for the fun of it.
I remember when nobody knew what EVs were, cause that wasn't what pokemon was about. It was about being a 9 year old with a desperate strategy that somehow worked. This sounds like a great idea, sign me up!
Currently it is a good time to join. A full set of gym teams and badges are availble to collect from members. Bring your ingame team or a favourites team and come try it out :-D
YES, i tried EV training once... I HATE IT!!! Sure my Floatzle is OP, but it sucked the fun right out of the game, I had much more fun training my Zoroark and Hitmontop... I love pokemon, and i once had a Dunsparce on my B2 team, I would LOVE to join this, because this actually seems as if everyone is even, and can have a completely random team! Like once i was playing the game, and my friend asked me why a refused to evolve my Piplup and asked if it was so i would be ore like Dawn, and all i replied as, I like Piplup's...
This is great! I used to do a lot of IV/EV training. I can't count how many of my Pokemon knew Earthquake! After the years, though, I've just relaxed and have enjoyed creating teams that are my style and fit "me". This would be fantastic!
I think I sent in the request to join, but since I'm new to this site I don't really know for sure. Can someone tell me if I did it right/got in? I'd love to battle people just for the fun of it! I haven't in forever against other people, and my brother can only battle so much.
I would have to a fun battle for once. All these t**ds with their speed Garchomps.... That is seriously the most powerful pokemon in the game right now.
If only my Servine had a chance, He's my absolute favourite pokemon ever, sadly his eviolite buff just isn't enough against the fun police.
I'm amazed by the number of people that think you can't have for fun battles with ev trained pokémon.
I don't think anyone is saying that you can't, Ludwing- a few of the members admitted they in fact IV/EV train their Pokemon. I just think people for once would like to use their favorites, many of which even with EV/IV stats can't hold their own against powerful Pokemon like Garchomp/Metagross/Jumpluff and other tourney proven Pokemon.
Everyone has fun in a different way and has a different approach to the game, and there are still far more people who stat train their mons out there ^_^
After all, I'd love to just have a battle where I can use my Pikachu that I didn't EV/IV train. Sometiems it's a little more time consuming then people would like and they would just like to raise a Pokemon without factors and such for now.
Then the problem is the pokémon used, not that they are ev trained. I agree that it's fun to use those pokémon, but that doesn't mean that I don't ev train them first. You'd be surprised by how well an ev trained watchog can do against those tourney proven pokémon.Quote:
