Thread: Black & White Tournament

I was browsing through the tournaments, and i found there hasn't been one recently. I'm all for organizing a new one, anyone else?

I'd be interested if it's held after the Global Link tournament.

Yeah, there is a global link one coming soon. I have held several tournaments on another website I go on and can give you a hand with it if you like. There is no harm in discussing what type people will want and what rules like triples, doubles, no legends, legends only, ect. If it is just a simple Black and White pokemon only tournment then that would be classed as VGC'11 rules (providing that it will be doubles with non uber legends allowed)

Well, I'm just looking for some competitive fun, so whatever anyone can do would help.

A tournament would be cool, but I think we will get a better turnout after the wi fi tournament.

Im currently busy with training a new team which is going slower than I hoped, but I should be able to take time out to have a battle :)

Yeah, a lot of people (like me) have their main teams in the battle box for the wifi tournament right now, so I'd wait a little while.

i'd be interested if it was PO...

PO is horrendous (My personal opinion)

Sheer cold telekenises works there while in game it does not, sableye cant have all the moves it can ingame. Thats all I know on that front.

But the whole battling is no way near as good on the DS. Yes the mechanics may be the same, but for me I feel more closer with my pokemon when playing on the DS. PO is like im battling with starngers and nothing seems to add up...

Firstly, it would need to be approved by the battle center mods. Secondly, PO is played more then WiFi. So it may be better to give PO a chance considering it turns a 10 minute battle into less then 2 minutes

Keep both. In any case, if we follow the standard rules, I can sign up for either.

Yeah I'd definitely be for this, only have access to PO though unfortunately.
