Alright, here's who you're going up against:

the pokemaster vs Synthesis
winstein vs Mijzelffan
TheMissingno vs Angad
Orion vs Takaki
Avarus Cantus vs Lord Clowncrete
Data Roxas vs Gotpika
Soulmaster vs Kira Akigari

*All matchups between players were done entirely with RNG*

I was thinking, and I think before each round, I'm going to name some of the Pokemon that I gave people, without naming who got said Pokemon.

Round 1
-Snorlax
-Yanmega
-Salamence
-Infernape
-Gyarados

And there ya go! Keep in mind, that in this round, there's a 1/13 chance of encountering a single Pokemon on that list. Unless you have it yourself, of course. I tried to name some of the more threatening Pokemon, but there are many more that can threaten your team.

I tried to make it so you can counter pretty much any Pokemon your opponent has....or at least, I hope. I tried to make it as fair as possible while still including a wide variety of Pokemon. Almost all of the Pokemon in this round are not used more then once.

Loser's Round

Here's how it's going to work after Round 1. I'm going to include a round where the losers of round one fight each other, and the winner of that gets to participate in round 2 and can potentially win. However, one of the losers will be unable to participate in this. The following criteria will be used, and the person who applies the most will not be able to participate.

-Knocked out the fewest of the foes Pokemon
-Least impressed me with their creativity
-The person with the most movesets imported from Smogon

That criteria will also be used after the first part of the "losers" round. After the first set of battles takes place, the person who applies the most to the criteria will be booted.

The losers round will only happen once, which is between rounds 1 and 2.

Times

Round One: 11/18/2012 (8:00 pm) - 11/25/2012 (8:00 pm) Eastern Time

Round One will end early if all the battles are finished before the deadline.

Confirming my team. Agree with Takaki on team preview. This is gen 5 and not gen 4.

Confirming and Team Preview is a yes for me. I've never used anything on my team before so this should be interesting.

I'm testing mine on the OU ladder and actually winning more than I'm losing by running gimmicky sets :/

Maybe the dwellers of the early thousands are truly that bad...

Alright, received my team hours ago. As for Team Preview, I am OK with either way.
