Hello. For all of you familiar with my work, either through here or my fanfiction.net account The Blue Engine, my Pokemon stories fall under the universe name The GalacticVerse. This name is in relation towards my first major fic, Galactic, and a slight pun, as Team Galactic is trying to create their own world.

Here, I will provide details on characters, stories, plotlines and Pokemon that have appeared in my series, mostly through a system that is hopefully similar to that of the character biographies on Serebii.net. Everything will be split into a series by series basis, with accompanied questions and answers and general background knowledge and details about how the stories connect.

Time: January – April 2010

Plot:
On New Year’s Day, Xavier Diamond, Matthew Pearl and the mysterious Vanessa sign up to begin their Pokemon stories, each with their own back-story and goals. Sahara Plattina moves to Sandgem with her mother, and is jealous of not being able to go on her journey. However, what seems like an average journey start takes a dramatic turn when Team Galactic strike Sandgem Town and Lake Verity.
After a dramatic battle, Xavier, Matthew, Vanessa and Sahara find themselves dragged into a war against Team Galactic, a violent terrorist group with mysterious intentions behind their explosive actions. Sahara runs away after a boy, Charles Golden, falls from the sky, and the two plan to journey together until Galactic takes him away.
The four Dex Holders confront Galactic as they travel between the regions gyms, meeting interesting people along the way that aide and hinder them as they get closer to discovering Galactic’s intentions. The four battle personal demons though: Sahara has three uncontrollably multiple personalities with mysterious powers that Galactic wants, Vanessa’s past is shrouded in mystery and lies, Xavier finds himself trying to cope with a lack of emotions, and Matthew’s morals are questioned as their journey gets more violent. Charles begins to question what Team Galactic’s motives are as they become more violent, and learns they are involved in the Sinnoh Time-Space Legend.

Characters:

Name: Vanessa Backlot
Age: 14
Hometown: Fortree City
Appearance: Long ginger hair. Pale skin. Average height. Clothing varies each day. Slender bordering on average/plump weight.
Personality: Varying personality. Sometimes is very sarcastic, witty and satirical, with a rude and mocking sense of humour (usually towards Matthew). Can be very angry and nasty, especially towards members of Galactic and Emerson, and becomes violent in confrontations. At other points she is sympathetic and understanding, and can lose herself completely when brought down by her past. In battle, she is sarcastic and witty in order to keep the game in her court, though still fights with fiery fury.
Family: Unknown
Special Objects: Posseses a number of handmade weapons. The keystone is a black umbrella with a wooden handle, which can turn into a sword, energy blaster, flamethrower, machine gun, javelin and fires rubber balls. Other objects include a green pen that releases acid, an iPod Touch like device that summons her Abra
Backstory: Shrouded in mystery. Was a member of motorcycle gang The Slayers for several months before murdering one of their members and fleeing.

Staraptor: Obtained as a Staravia shortly after evolving. Has been with Vanessa with several years, and is very loyal to her, though she disagrees with her methods at times. Has a rare, unknown illness that comes up from time to time. Is strong in flight, and has manipulated attacks to aid against trainers. Currently knows Fly, Aerial Ace, Close Combat and Twister.
Monferno: Obtained as a Chimchar when Vanessa entered the Sinnoh League, claiming to not have other Pokemon. Quickly proved a good battler and is loyal to Vanessa, adapting her fiery nature very quickly. Evolved after battling Galactic in Floraroma Town. Uses new fighting strengths brutally in battle, and has more interesting moves now. Currently knows Mach Punch, Ember, Rock Slide and Fire Punch.

Name: Xavier Diamond
Age: 14
Hometown: Twinleaf Town/Route 201, Sinnoh
Appearance: Tall, pale skin, dull grey eyes. Blonde/brown hair,
Personality: Little due to a lack of emotions thanks to Mesprit. Shows compassion towards his Pokemon and is beginning to for his friends, thought it confuses him.
Family: Father is Palmer Diamond, Tower Tycoon and Owner of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier. Mother is Carolina Diamond (nee Carter), a lonesome housewife who has smothered him more than necessary. As of Dawn, Part 2, she was murdered by Saturn of Team Galactic. Aunt is Cynthia Carter, the fiery champion of Sinnoh. Carolina Carter Senior, his only remaining grandparent, lives in Celestic Town.
