Okay, this is tricky.
So I just finished my first piece I intend to put up on this forum. I did it on GarageBand, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere that will accept it. 4Shared and Tindeck just don't even begin the uploading process and YouTube is too damn confusing to me. Suggestions?
GarageBand is .AAC by default but can be converted to .MP3. Right now I'm trying to upload to Newgrounds. I'll edit in the result...
EDIT: Ah, the Mac is telling me that the song is set to .BAND. Now that is worrying.
EDIT 2: Nevermind. I converted it, now I need to wait for NewGrounds to quit lagging and UPLOAD!
If you're starting out as a musician, make sure you can play piano. It doesn't matter how well, just make sure you can play it. It's the key to all instruments and may very well save you a year of playing all other instruments (this happened to me).
Just don't have the right voice to sing? Try playing an instrument. You may also play ina band, and or ask someone to sing the text.
When making a song remember that it does not have to be insanely complex to be good.
I have good vocal range but my voice is quite child-like and kinda annoying for a teenager. Any tips to change my actual voice to sound good? I tried having a cold but that makes me unable to sing :P
@~2NE1~ : Unfortunately, you cannot forcefully change the sound of your voice permanently. What I suggest is to make the most out of what you have; also keep in mind you're voice still has a lot of changing to go through considering you're still a teenager. I think I know how you feel; I think my voice sounds awkwardly high whenever I sing. xD But really, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
I'm trying to get an abridged series started (because I'm lame) and I'm trying to remove the audio from certain episodes of a certain anime but I just don't know how. Any tips?
Okay, this is starting to bug me: I want to animate. I have a durn forum dedicated to it. But I can't a good program to animate with. I don't like windows movie maker, and it needs to be free (too cheap I guess). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
If you're looking strictly to animate GIF images, the program GIMP is a great freeware program that's available for you to download. If you're looking to make videos, I would suggest trial versions of big-name software like Adobe Premiere... Otherwise, it's difficult to find programs that are free to edit videos because of the sophistication in the software.
Any free websites or programs that would allow me to record 2 different tracks then meld it into one song?
