Thread: Cathedrals & Basilicas in Montreal & Quebec City, Quebec, Canada

My choir took a trip to Montreal & Quebec City, Quebec, Canada during spring break and sang in multiple cathedrals and basilicas there. These are pictures of their outsides and insides along with a scenery picture thrown in the mix. I'm sorry I cannot remember the names of these places, though.

Cool pictures!

For those curious, in post #3 the "landscape" one is of the Montmorency Falls near Quebec, the church in the two right above that is the Sainte-Anne-De-Beaupré basillica (also near Québec). Then the big building is the Parliament of Quebec

In the second post the big building with the green dome is the St Joseph Oratory in Montreal (the pictures of all the lamps were probably taken there also), and the church with the twin towers and the blue ceiling right above that is the Notre-Dame Basilica, also in Montreal.

I'm not sure what the other are

I used to chill near there :')
Quebec City is a beautiful city; but Montreal is where all the partying is at x)

Cool pics! I've got nothing much more to add than what Evil Figment said, I recognized the same three he did... and the National Assembly of course.

Bonus for the Cyclorama de Jérusalem picture... that's like... a 360 degrees panorama of Jerusalem at the time of Christ, never went in, but always thought the name was cool :D

Really? I had no idea that THIS is what it is!

When I was young, I thought it was a roller skating rink because of the name... Don't ask... :P

I don't need to ask; I've been thinking that (well, bicylce+roller skating) for twenty-odd years.

Thanks! I probably have their names on a sheet of paper somewhere around here, but I wouldn't have any idea which building was which. xD
