I've been dreading the possibility of having to sing rock in this competition because it is my least favourite music style. Since I don't want to miss out on another round, I'll be singing “I'm a Goofy Gooper” Rock Version (of course) by Spongebob Squarepants(I'm totally sane btw =P).

That's one of the 2 rock music with singing that I actually like a lot XD. The other song is the song that made Finland win the 2005 Eurovision song contest. “Rock Hallelujah”, was it? I hope that somebody picks that song to sing =P.

Rock?! Of all the genres it could've been...XDD I'll do something from Linkin Park, probably 'What I've Done', but might change it later

Is Coldplay rock enough? If so, Yellow by Coldplay pls (yay, so original)

Coldplay is a rock band, so their songs would be acceptable.

F**king Perfect by Pink seems to be categorized pop rock, though Wiki says it's R&B and pop, so I'm unsure.
Leave Out All the Rest is alternative rock, acceptable.
Welcome to My Life is punk rock. Good.
Dance Floor Anthem is alternative/dance rock. Good.
'Careful' is alternative rock. Good to go.

Punk rock is a rock music genre, so yes, they'd be allowed. Simple Plan is a rock band also, so their songs are fine.
Paperhorse said pop rock is acceptable, so some of Avril Lavigne's songs would do. Like 'My Happy Ending' is categorized as alternative/rock. Smile is classified as pop rock or pop punk, so it's also acceptable.

Yep, pretty much everything that Min said. The only one I'm on the fence with is F**king Perfect.

@Mintaka; 3 Doors Down IS allowed, right? Last time I checked, I think they were a rock band, iiirc. Just making sure XDD

@Destiny Queen; alternative/hard rock, so they are fine.

I'd think Coldplay is a VERY long stretch, personally - there's a bit of a difference between indie and rock.

I'll have to have quite a bit of thought into this one :o

EDIT: Shower - the perfect place for picking song choices. 'Another One Bites The Dust' by Queen, but I'm probably gonna use the backing from the We Will Rock You show, because I know that structure better.

Is there anychance room for a late entry?
