Thread: Capture Contest Prizes

Okay, the Capture Contest is over. Thanks to everyone who was involved in making this event a success. It's been a great trial run, and it's taught us a lot. Our job now is to find out how these events can be made better so that next year's Capture Contest is even better than this one. With that in mind, I'd like to invite all of you to head over to the Discussion thread and talked about what you liked or didn't like. Was the three-week limit too long? Do you think healing moves should be allowed? Were there too many items in the basket?

Anyway, the real reason you're all here is for your prizes. First of all, everyone who participated in the event (i.e. signed up for it and paid their money) gets 2,000 to spend in the Park Shop. Put it towards a Digital Camera, or a pair of Super Balls towards your next Expedition!

Next up, the following people may claim a Pokemon they captured in their run:

Finally, the whole point of this Event, the placings. The following people were best able to adapt to the new rules but still maintain their writing skill and National Park know-how. So, without further ado:

Third Place is actually a two-way tie. Both Kai-Mei and Sky Lark earned a final score of 84, so they can both claim a Park Pass and 1,500 Park Credits! Congratulations to the both of you: Kai is already a famous Park Trainer, known for her lengthy posts; and even more incredibly, this is Sky Lark's first endeavour into the Park, so we look forward to reading his next Expedition!

Second Place goes to our inestimable Dog of Hellsing, with a final score of 85. As the Park Head, we expect no less from her. She can claim a Park Pass and 3,500 Park Credits!

Finally, First Place goes to one of our Rangers, a stalwart young go-getter with a fantastic mop of hair. That's right, our winner of the first ever National Park Capture Contest is Buoysel., with a final score of 86! Buoysel wins 5,000 Park Credits, a Park Pass, and most importantly a very rare item, one of only two in existence: a Love Potion! Use it wisely...
