Thread: We should have skins to match different characters!

It would be cool to have an Ash skin, or a Misty skin. What do you guys think?

We do already have a Misty themed skin, though skins themed off specific characters would be a reasonable point for future skin creation.

If there was ever a skin that simply needed to be made after a character, it would be for N. He's very popular among the fandom as both Plasma's Leader and the son of Ghetsis.

Yeah, N would be cool I think. Maybe have something dark and have him with Zoroark.

I think it would be better to have a skin for each type. It might take a while though, cause there's quite a few...

We already had a discussion about skins for each type. That'd be adding 17 skins to the list, which is nearly doubling how many are in existance currently.

23 + 17 = 40

Not only a lot of work, but that'd be incredibly annoying browsing through all of them.

but in the end, I think it'd be worth it. I know I'd like a skin for dark types. Users like customization, no matter who they are.

Why isn't there an Ash Ketchum skin? He's the main character of the show, and he NEEDS to have a skin!! Also, I'd prefer if it were a "nostalgic" skin, where Ash is wearing his original outfit, and the Pokemon that appear on the skin would be Ash's Kanto and Johto teams.

We had the idea phase a while back, please wait before we go through the old skins first and then add some new ones from that phase.

I like this idea. One for each type seems like the best way to accommodate each user.

Personally, I think it would be cool if there were something in our site preferences thing where it allowed for the user to create a personal skin of their own that they can use. o3o Though, to probably lessen the stress on the server, the images that they use for their own skins would probably be best off being offsite links. XD;; I mean... at least this way, we don't have to deal with users that are disappointed with any skin that they use and therefore have a skin that they're happy with and can edit at any point that they can. :U

I'm not sure that vBulletin can do this, but is is a suggestion from my end if it can be done in any way, shape or form.

i think we need a Dawn skin for the site since we already have Misty and May skin here why not one for Dawn fans
