Thread: Social Group Posts in Live Feed

I just made a post in a private social group, which I noticed came up on the front page in the new "Live Feed" feature. They were personal posts that were not intended to be read by the whole forum, and I hope the number of people who saw them before I deleted them was not very high. Please fix this problem as soon as possible.

I'll copy paste what Archaic said in this blog:

It should not show content in a private group to someone who does not actually belong to that group. So if a friend of yours who's not part of it sees it, let us know. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you're just seeing stuff you already have access to.

Okay thanks, but was I really supposed to dig up a blog posted two days ago by someone who isn't a mod to find this information?

No, and I didn't mean to imply that you should have. I linked to the blog so that it could give context to the quote.

Well I'm still uneasy about the situation. I'm probably not going to post in private groups for a while.

I tested and confirmed that posts in private groups only show up to members of said groups.

The same can be said for the forums and those with access to them.
