Thread: Notification when there is a new comment/post?

Do you think we could make it so that you get a notification on this site whenever someone comments on/replies to something that you are subscribed to, such as a social group, thread, or blog?

This has been suggested before, but unfortunately, I haven't found an add-on that allows this to become a reality.

DOWN. This is completely unnecessary. You can get an email notification for threads and blogs you are subscribed to. I'm not sure if it extends to social groups.

Social groups are always slow paced so you wouldn't be bombarded with email notifications and it would make them more popular in the long run I think.
If I new that a group was active I would post, but the prospect of checking each one to see if there's been anymore posts, is too annoying.

The problem with this is that it's easier for some people to check the treads than my email, and personally I don't want a bunch of junk cluttering up my inbox.

I vote UP. Cuz I have lots of things to do on this site and I use my mom's email...

I suggest all of you read through a thread before posting. It was clearly said that this was not possible.
