I vote UP  This would make it a lot easier to post from my ipod.

I ALWAYS go on Bulbagarden with my iPod Touch. If possible, a mobile would make it easier to access.
UP
Bulbagarden takes so long to load on my mobile that I can't use it and I'd love to be able to do so.
We're looking into this. I don't want to close it, since input is very welcome as to how we would accomplish this. We aren't quite developing this idea, though.
Yet another project I could take up for you guys, but I could do this one probably a lot quicker than I could do the Music section. I'll need to talk to Archaic though because I can make something pretty cool that could benefit the forums later simultaneously.
Added him on MSN, haven't seen him so far. He lives not an hour from me so it's not like it's a timezone issue. :(
UP As mentioned, will help iPad/iPod viewing.
Archaic has been having internet problems of late.
UP.
I think we would make the search bar be at the top with an expandable menu so that people can log in and make edits. That would make browsing on my iPhone so much easier!!
And if we can figure something out for the DSi, that would be great too.
Uh, just one question; like DCM, I don't have any problems with the fora (I haven't really been to the wiki recently, though). Posting is a hassle because of the iPod's tiny keyboard, if at all. Not because of slow load times. So why is this necessary?
Qombat, I probably denied your request on MSN because I didn't recognise the address it came from. Best to contact me over PM's here in any case, given my current internet issues.
At the current moment in time, we are likely to shell out for the mobile app package for vB4, which will mean that all our members have access to a free app on both iPhone and Android phones. If you want to see how that looks, you can test it on vBulletin.com's forums with iPhone and Android. We will also have the mobile forums style, for those who prefer to use browsers.
As for Bulbapedia...we'd love to have both iPhone and Android apps for it, if it can be done.
Archaic it is possible it would take a team to study the browser of the android and Ipod/itouch/ipad OS to see what could be done to adapt the site for mobile phones or to build a free application
I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you mean you think someone should study the browser? That's a bit useless, considering the people who can make the apps and mobile sites need to be aware of what the browsers look like.
while i do use my Android phone's browser on both the pedia and the forums, i've had little trouble navigating the sites. my only issue is the lag when loading pages in the forums (the pedia's pages load quite fast believe it or not!) and that on a phone, the drop down menu from a person's username (like the ones in this thread) aren't really clickable, no matter the zooming/track padding.
so i guess, UP
Implementing a mobile site would go for all browsers flagged mobile--including Opera Mini/mobile, Dolphin (which I use on my Andriod,) Firefox mobile, and iOS and Android's native browsers. Among others.
