Could we possibly have a Minecraft server for Bulbagarden, one which has a unique code to prevent people who don't have it from getting on. You could get the code if you 'register', and anyone who gets on without being on said register would be removed immediately, to prevent greifers, iirtnc, trashing it.
But yeah, basically could Bulbagarden have a Minecraft server? And if suggested, other servers for other, similar games.

Well, it'd have to work like the Pokémon Online server, logically, in that it is Bukbagarden's official server, but is run and maintained by a user. So before this goes through, you'd need someone who'd be willing to host it.

Well then, is anyone willing to host a Minecraft Server for Bulbagarden? Kite Kazira, you suggested your server for something?
In the interest of keeping the server relatively grief-free, how about setting the server up with a whitelist, so that forum members would have to message the server administrator with their password to be allowed on the server at all? It would make it much easier to track traffic, at least.
I hope it's not necessary, but preventative measures can only help.
Not really interested in running an official one, but if you wanted to set yourself up a social group for Minecraft players (if one doesn't already exist) and distribute a code to a special server for people in that social group only, go ahead.

Yes, i would be willing to host the server, however there will be a few small complications first.
1. I only have 5 slots atm, but i am in the process of upgrading it to a higher number
2. Still experimenting with various addons and plugins
3. I need to know if it would be called an "unofficial" Bulbagarden server? Or would the admins and moderators acknowledge it as official?
Beyond those things i would really enjoy expanding my server to allow people from this sight to have a place to hang out and build TNT cannons that shoot animals into orbit. And you are correct about white-listing, I'm hoping the server IP will only be passed around out here, but i already know some griefer will get his greasy hands on it -_-

I made a Minecraft social group recently, I'll be willing to make a topic of servers.
Okay, soon I'll be upgrading the server to 15+ people, then I'll be opening it up for people on Bulbagarden

I would probably give it two weeks. I need to do several things such as make a world barrier so nobody expands the map so i have to upgrade memory, configure plugins and other things such as that.
But it might even get done in a few days :B
