Make the login for both websites the same

MediaWiki and vBulletin are two totally different pieces of software; chances for a way for them both to store their credentials in the same database are really slim and even if there was a solution, it would probably be very difficult to convert two already existing databases into such a combined one. Somehow I don't believe this one is going to happen.

The tools to do this didn't exist when either the forum or the wiki was first set up. Tools to do this now do exist, but to implement such functionality we'd need to completely delete everything and start from scratch, something which simply isn't going to happen.

If one day we're able to link the accounts without killing existing content, we will, but until then our hands are tied.
