Ah, my apologies.
OPh, no, it's a fine idea, I'd rather just have the more plot-based comic be standalone. Perhaps Bulbagraphic could have a 4koma thing going for it?
Hrm. I think it's a cool idea but what if we do it like they do on Cyanide and Happiness?
3 or 4 teams make a comic and each team gets a comic a week, giving each team a month to work on a strip while keeping a regular flow of comics being published to something or other.
I like the idea, but I was thinking we release them in issues rather then weekly strips. That way we can have actual stories going with a stable art to keep the flow. Perhaps we could do that it like a series, a 'Main Writer' does the starting strips, and other writers bring in other plots to be used, based on your idea with a weekly issue going, and with artists bringing their own style to the table...
Depending on frequently you'd want the comic(s) published, you should either contact the Bulbanews staff (RexRacer) or National Bulbagraphic staff (evkl) directly and send the idea to them.
Personally, I really like Hallow's idea, with one "big" series that would revolve around a continuing story and would have a strip published every issue, and several standalone comics that would be published additionally alongside the big series. The one issue I have with the idea is whether or not we'd find artists and writers willing to work on a continuing comic, with strips published every month. With standalones, we don't have that issue.
Either way, I think National Bulbagraphic in particular could benefit a lot with some comics to compliment the articles; of course, you don't have to agree with me.

We could at least make comics regarding the lives of the most well-known users here.
Winner of: Inazuma Eleven Mafia, FALCONWING 3 MAFIA, War Room Mafia 2,
The Simpsons Mafia, Bloodshed in Blackthorn, Insane Mafia

But of course: we'll be needing adventures to draw for it =P
So I presume this has been accepted as a relatively good idea?
Actually this sounds like it can be a lot of fun (as long as we are talking about strips and not graphic novel chapters or pages because that is a lot of work), at the end of the year, you can take all the strips and turn them into a book (preferably print, but to keep initial cost close to zero e-book is fine...) and sell them to the pokemon community, using the proceeds to fund Bulbagarden.
I definitely see myself wanting to participate in this so I hope this idea goes forwards!
I like this. But if it's not gonna be Pokemon comics. I'll vote down.
My shop. Check it out.
I don't calculate stat values, and I don't care about natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are. I just play the game normally. If you agree copy & paste this in your sig.
If I'm involved in this, there will definitely be Pokémon comics. A Knight Pokémon University promo strip could do wonders for both projects. I can't actually draw, though—just write stories/gags.
I hope it's mostly Pokémon comics =P That is what I originally suggested it for, a community project to make a Pokécomic...
