Thread: Badges

I think that it might be cool if you could get badges for helping out Bulbagarden, BMGf, Bulbapedia, etc. It could be located next to the pictures under someone's username.
Like, if someone is a frequent editor of Bulbapedia, they could get a special badge, so everyone could know that you edited.
It'd kind of be like a way for helpers to get recognized.

That would require the addition of several needless usergroups to pull off.

Actually, I believe this is something we can do in vB4 with that award add-on.

Smogon has something like this. So wouldn't we be able to do it too?

I'll vote UP if its just an aesthetic thing like Tolantor has pitched.

How big would the badges be, out of interest?

Any alternate suggestions that want special priviledges from such badges I'll vote down for.

Like, the size of the group ones I have under my Username.

We're currently exploring all the forms the VB4 awards system can be used for, this will be added to the list of possible uses for it
