Thread: Water/Flying Battle

Well... People have done Fire/Flying and Electric/Flying so I'm gonna do Water/Flying a Combo that has been in every Gen

We Have Gyrados The only one of the group not to evolve from another Water/Flying

Mantyke and Mantine the only one who are not introduced in the same Gen

Wingull and Pelliper the Sea-Gull's

and Koarauhie and Swanna the Swans...

All of them are part of a one-stage evo line...

and of course you know the deal... Who would win a Fight who has the best design ect...

The blue dragon. That was easy :P

The swans. Their battle animation is quite graceful, because they spread out their wings once in a while. Again, I am not a fan of the famous and powerful.

Gyara will always win for me.

Gyarados for me. If there isn't any Electric-type move users, then... well... no contest. On the other hand, I wish I could vote for Mantyke. Sooooo cute!

Gyarados, the first generation Power Monster, would definitely win.

Battle-wise, Gyarados is the winrar. Everything else is crap.

Raging serpent of Kanto for me.

Mantine has no pic, you may want to see to that.

Anyway, I picked Gyarados because it's clearly the best one here.

That said, if I was allowed, I would have voted for Mantine too because of it's awesome and quirky design.

Pelipper would probably win against Gyarados, seeing how bulky Pelipper is on the physical side. It could take a non-SE hit and retailiate with Toxic then Roost off the damage.

Gyarados was one of my favorite Pokémon, and can battle easily.

I like Swanna, because of its graceful appearance.

I love Mantine's design. LOVE it. It's a shame it isn't used as often as it could be. Gyarados is awesome and everything, but I'm kinda tired of it.
