Thread: Urban Jungle Brawl

Oh! Mai Goshness!

This is a unique thread. Why?

Because it is a competition between each of the main region's most urbanized city. :D

Here are the competing cities,

1. Saffron City, Kanto
2. Goldenrod City, Johto
3. Rustboro City, Hoenn
4. Jubilife City, Sinnoh
5. Castelia City, Unova

• Which do you think is the most urbanized?

As for the first three questions, I say Castelia, brecause it is based on good old NYC, the most important is probably Saffron City, due to Silph Co., and my favorite is also Castelia. Overall, my vote went to Castelia City.

Rustboro - I love the architecture and design of the city. It is so European.
Castelia - I love it because it's very crowded and I like talking to different npcs. Atleast though, I can't wait for the French version for me to understand what's going on in that city.

So my favorite is still Rustboro.

I'm not really that much of a fan of Castelia, I prefer Nimbasa. My vote goes to Goldenrod.

It's gotta be Goldenrod. Not only is it the best bits of Saffron and Celadon rolled into one, but it also has the radio tower, the GTS, and that cool underground thing (I wish they'd done more with it, though :/).

Obviously, Castelia City. There are hundreds of soaring skyscrapers. :O

Rustboro City because of the history of the city expanding with the help of the Move cutter guy. Really fascinating.

This is obvious to me, because I've already counted them on Bulbapedia. :P Anyway it is Castelia City. However, Nimbasa City makes Castelia City look pathetic.
Which do you think is the most important?
They're all equally important. But I guess I'd have to say either Goldenrod City or Castelia City.

Goldenrod City! It's awesome, nostalgic, and first city I ever got lost in.

So... All in all, I voted for.... GOLDENROD CITY! :D

Castelia City looks amazing, is large (with many interesting features), and is my favorite overall.

I think for me it'll end up being a tossup between Castelia and Rustboro (although my favorite city overall is probably Lilycove, but it's not the biggest in its region so it doesn't get a spot on the poll).

But at any rate, I'm not going to vote until I get to experience Castelia City fisthand.

castelia city because i have been waiting for such a city, soarring skyscrapers and it just looks epic, but before that it would have been goldenrod city

Hiun City hands down. By far, it's one of the largest cities in any main series game, has a lot of buildings that I like to get lost in, large streets, people running, and it's next to the most epic bridge, the Sky Arrow Bridge.

So yeah, that's my verdict.

Definitely Goldenrod City. It has the variety of places that a real city does, ex: big dept. store, shadier places (underground path), various shops, several types of transportation and communication, weirdo's house (name rater).....

Actually. Lilycove is one of the largest cities in the Pokemon World. It is even the largest in Hoenn. And it's the only city in the Hoenn region to have 100+ citizens.

I'm voting for Saffron. They have an awesome Gym Leader as well as Team Rocket.

Rustboro gets my vote because it is my favourite city so far, and that would be because of the design, especially the architecture of the Devon corp :)
