Thread: Tepig vs Chikorita vs Squirtle vs Treecko vs Turtwig

Why these guys? Well, from a few quizzes I took on other sites these are the least popular starters from each generation. Sad how 3/5 are grass.

Which looks better? Which would win in a battle? Which one do you like the best?

I love Tepig! I absolutely love Enbuoh! I don't really care if it's Fire/Fighting. I love its evos ALOT! Way better than Blaziken, imo. (Infernape is tied with Enbuoh.) =DD

Chikorita was my first Pokemon, and Meganium remains one of my favorite Pokemon to this day. I love their designs, and the Grass-type is one of my favorites, despite the fact it's not as competitively viable as some other types. The Chikorita line is terribly unloved too, which is a damn shame.

Definately treecko. Mostly for design, but I also love its speed

I love squirtle. So cute. When I was a kid in the days of Gen 1, my neighbors and I would pretend to be pokemon and we always fought over who'd be Machamp and Squirtle.

Literally cannot decide between Chikorita and Tepig. They are both so ADORABLE, and two of my absolute favorite starters. I loved having Chikorita following me around in HeartGold~ <3 And when I get White I think I'm picking Tepig as my starter (even though Oshawatt is my favorite, Tepig's a close second and my sis already called Oshawatt, so meh :P)

Then after them, in order, I'd say Squirtle, Turtwig, and Treecko last. I actually really dislike Treecko, it's my least favorite starter for some reason.

why not pick by type?

I'm choosing now Squirtle, the coolest kanto starter :E Also Blastoise has two cannons. Seriously.

Chikorita is my second-favorite starter, and has a very 'cute' design.

Squirtle or Chikorita... hmmm...
Y'know what, I think I'm gonna have to give the win to Squirtle. Blastoise is still my first favorite Pokémon. I still love Chikorita, though.

Turtwig.

Andi t defintely is NOT underused, about 9/10 every person I meet picks a Turtwig, it can't be.....

Turtwig. It's overlooked a lot, and has great potential. And it's my favorite grass type.

WHAT IS THIS Squirtle is the best thing ever he evolves into a turtle with CANNONS ON IT'S BACK.

I have to go Turtwig. It just has an awesome design and later type combination. Then, I'd go:

Tepig, Squirtle, Treecko, Chicorita.

I have said this once, and I'll say it again-

It sounds like you are saying "teh pig" as in "teh pig is in da house!"

That makes it awesome!
