I'm a little surprised this hasn't been done yet.

The resident Normal/Flying-types of Hoenn & Sinnoh face off! Both are known as tenacious predators & also have an undying nature when it comes to battle.

Staraptor for all 4 questions. It has Close Combat, too.

I like them both, so I voted for them both. But if I had to choose, I'd go for Swellow. It's my favorite early bird Pokemon (followed by Pidgeot) so yeah...

I voted Staraptor. I think it's the best normal/flying Pokemon around, even better than Pidgeot. It has a great moveset and looks badass. Now I just need to see how good Wargle is, and whether it will kick Staraptor's ass.

Sure, Swellow has Guts and Facade, but Staraptor has Close Combat. Staraptor all the way!

Swellow is Epic. Toxic Orb + Guts + STAB Facade = DEATH

I've used Swellow more, and I like his design better. Swellow.

Staraptor can combat Fighting-types with Close Combat.

Swellow. Its colorful and Pretty. I enjoy Colorful and Pretty.

Staraptor. It looks much cooler, and it's part of a three-stage evolution.

I prefer Staraptor, though. Swellow is a great Pokemon in its own right, but Staraptor? What with its Intimidate and Close Combat? Can't pass that up.

Staraptor all the way baby! Too many good qualities to list, but its a hawk with a mohawk.

Staraptor has an scythe on its head. Or at least I thought so the first time I saw it. So, I'm going Staraptor here.
