Plusle and Minun are the most creative, so I'll go with them.

Pikachu, the original.
Can any of the others learn Volt Tackle? No.
But Flying (Gliding) Electric Squirrel comes next, followed by Hyper Electric Squirrel, and then Magnetic BunnyMouse duo.
Now watch THIS and imagine Emonga -gliding- out of treetops and assaulting your face aerially. Good idea for Emonga's Best Wishes intro.
Do I hate Pikachu solely because of how overused it is? Indeed.
Plusle and Minun suck, even in double battles. Same goes for Pachrisu.
Emonga isn't much better, but I like its design and it still has some potential. So I'm going with Emonga.

Emonga... it flies. End of :P
Being the mascot of the franchise, pikachu has some big nostalgic points, but emonga can FLY!
Thanks to King of Jesus (Neodark) for the banner!
Pikachu is cool and all that, but...
SINNOH PRIDE!!! Pachirisu gets my vote. So effin' cute!

Emonga. A flying-type move that has 110 power if it isn't holding an item and an electric-type move that increases in power the faster Emonga is = pure win. Emonga already has base 106 speed, making it pretty speedy. Mine was so useful in the E4, lol. It's not as fragile as it looks!
