Prefer Luxray's epic look to Ampharos's cute look.

It's unnecessary and annoying.
Um, yes it is?This forum is not meant exclusively for English speakers users.
It's definitely not meant for Japanese-speaking people, at least. And even if it was, I'm sure they'd prefer Kanji to English, anyway.
Why should we be forced to look up the Pokemon's names because some kid thinks he's funny and puts up Japanese names instead? The 'pedia will help you if you don't know their names.
I don't know why the Japanese names are in there. But, to answer the poll, Shinx. Its physical movepool may not be much (Spark, Crunch, elemental fangs, Superpower (Luxray only)), but at least it provides good coverage.
What I meant was if some person was more familiar with Japanese name, he/she should be forced to use the english names.
Well, I am actually not sure. Sure both of them possesses better bulk than the average Electric-type in exchange for less speed and have different dominant high attack stats, but because I had not been using them effectively, I could not tell from the competitive point of view, but if it's looks, then Mareep's line got me on this one. Because of my uncertainty, I went for the third option of "Why not English names?", because I want to know why too.
Spark has the same power as Thunder Fang, and I'm pretty sure Spark is more accurate as well. :(
Ampharos > Luxray in terms of battling ability. Not only is it a terrifying beast with amazing SpA, it's also a huge tank. I've trained two Luxray, and neither worked as well as this guy.
In terms of looks... Ampharos is a large, bald dragon-sheep with a glowing tail. <3
shinx for evolving into a luxray in its final form. that things epic.
mareep: meh
flaafy:cotton candy?
ampharos: what?

Merriep, but only because I like Denryuu a tiny bit more than Rentorar. They are very high on my favourites list.
..competitively?
Superpower+Ice Fang vs. Focus Blast+Hidden Power Ice...
But Luxray has a better ability and 120 Base Attack and 95 Special compared to Ampharos 115 Special Attack and 75 Attack, so him.
...in terms of cuteness?
Mareep. And Ampharos
Overall?
Luxray. Yes, my surname literally means sheep and Power Gem is one of my favourite moves but Luxray.

Well, sorry for that. Yes, I was. Happy?
I purposely avoided using the English names. If you'll notice, the poll options are in German and on the actual post I use their French names.
I'm sorry if you're jaded enough to actually be insulted by that.
Because POKEMON IS SRS BSNS *DERP*
Please, take it more lightly.

The word "quadragonal" is the only word with "dragon" in it where "dragon" is not a root word. That makes it awesome.
Shinx. Better speed, attacks and movepool.
Seriously you are complaining because he put them in Japanese? Get over it, geez and besid3es I learnt what their Japanese names were (At first I thought Kolink was referring to the owner of Pokefarm, which now makes sense because that's Shinx's Japan name and well it's the mascot of the site).
Anyways I prefer Shinx/Kolink line over Mareep because well I like their line, the designs and such and Shinx is cute.
I wasn't putting them in Japanese for the sake of putting them in Japanese, I was doing so for the sake of putting them in any non-English language.
Like I said, in the poll, the options are German.
