Thread: Scyther or Scizor?

they both have the same base stat totals, but distibuted differently and different types. So, which one? Personally, think Scyther would have the advantage, being part- flying against a part-bug.

Scizor would destroy Scyther, so Scizor ^^

Nope. Steel negates the Flying advantage. Scizor still has Aerial Ace. Scizor would probably win (especially given that it rests X-Scissor and a ton of other things).

Personally, I've gotten a lot of good use out of both, and Scizor's design has grown on me to the point where I like it just as much as Scyther's. It's really close, but I'll give it to Scizor because of his wider range of resistances and his Steel-typing (Steel's my fave type).

You forgot to add that scyther evolves into scizor.

Scizor by all means necessary

I'm going to have to say Scizor. Scyther can't really do anything super-effective (to my knowledge) to Scizor, while Scizor, like Chromas said, gets a super effective Aerial Ace or Wing Attack.

I like Scyther more, but there's no doubting Scizor's got 'im. D:

Scizor. Red is my favourite color and scythers green looks a little weird to me in some pictures.

SCIZOR. It PWNS Scyther any day.

I would say Scizor. Even though it's the evo, it still seems like it can beat Scyther.~

Scyther can't do super effective damage to scizor, plus scizor is my favorite :3
