Thread: Sawk vs Throh

Two Fighting-types, both alike in dignity,

Do you choose the Karate Pokemon Sawk or the Judo Pokemon Throh?
Who would win in a 1 vs. 1 duel to the death?
Who has the best design, finely trimmed eyebrows included?
Overall...the question is this...Sawk or Throh?

Anyway, I haven't used either one of them in-game, so I can't comment on strength, but Sawk wins out for me. Cooler color-scheme, its eyebrows ROCKS, and its little karate-pose and animation in the game is neater than Throh, who just sort of stands there. It's no fair that Throh gets its own signature Judo move, Mountain Storm, however, while Sawk just gets Karate Chop. Oh, and it's the only Pokemon who naturally learns Rock Smash. *trivia*

Nageki's the blue one, right? I'll pick him. Bert and Ernie are both amazing, however, so it's a close lead for Nageki. He reminds me of how skinny I am, but obviously I'm not athletic like Nageki. ;P

No, Nageki is the red one.

I'll say Nageki. I prefer its stat distribution and movepool (Mountain Storm signature move FTW!). I think it looks pretty cool, too.

I'm not too fond of the anorexic karate Pokemon. It looks too...disproportioned I should say.

I prefer Nageki. It has some nice bulk and high attack.

I was going to make a Bert and Ernie allusion, but Ground Control covered that.

Dageki for me, solely because he is blue.

I like them both more or less the same, perhaps Nageki edging ahead a little bit on account of his good endurance.

As to the Bert & Ernie comparison, I love that, but they will always be Waldorf & Statler to me after seeing that one fanart, and have been nicknamed as such (as luck would have it, the names fit the character limit). X)

Dageki because I used to do Karate when I was younger...

I like Dageki of the Fighting Muppets. Very good Pokemon to use early in the game thanks to its already good stats fresh from the oven.

That and I like Karate more then Judo.

I don't really like either of the Bert and Ernie fighting types. They just don't appeal to me.

I voted for Nageki by accident. I prefer Dageki much more, design-wise.

Dageki has a better design, and better stats.
