garchop is a friggen land shark... how can it not be better

Salamence is winning? I must do something about this!

Garachomp is an awesome (in looks and power- why do you think it's an uber?) mach-speed land shark thing, while Salamence is just a Dragonite ripoff. Garachomp's evolutionary line's type combination is nearly unique, shared only with Flygon and one of its pre-evos. I cannot say the same for Dragon/Flying, which has been overused time and time again.

Whoa, don't compare Salamence to Dragonite. D8 That stupid barney dragon is nothing compared to Salamence.

On topic, Garchomp and Salamence are both pretty equal in power. D: Salamence may resist Earthquake, but he is weak to Outrage.

I guess the battle comes down to whoever has the faster Outrage. In case that would be Garchomp.

I prefer garchomp over mence. It is a better battler and can abuse that damned haxxy strategy and get tonnes of wins. I have used Salamence as well but chomp has got me more sweeps than anything else.

Haxchomp. Salamence is ugly.

Haxchomp.

Who do you like more?

I don't really like any of them, but Haxchomp have a better design, typing, movepool and it is a Sinnoh Pokémon.

Design-wise, I like Garchomp.
Battle-wise, I like Garchomp.

Cynthia has a Garchomp, even though I don't like Garchomp.

So my vote goes to Garchomp.

Uberchomp, because one Sword Dance is all it needs to fully wipe out your team. Sand Veil also makes it harder to hit when trying to stop its tracks.

Garchomp by far. Salamence is meh in appearance. Those wings are ugly too.

Garchomp. Very powerful and I like his design more.

Who has the better design? They both have menancing designs and look really cool. But it's Garchomp by far, It looks a lot cooler and more intimidating than Salamence to me.
Who would win in a battle? Hmmm... Garchomp I'm guessing. It's faster and can take down Salamece with Outrage. One is probably enough due to Salamence's low defences. If Salamence manages to survive, I don't think it will take down Garchomp with one shot since Garchomp has a decent defence stat.
Who is more useful? Ermm... I'd say Garchomp because it has a better typing and is not as vulnerable as Salamence. Garchomp also has Rough Skin which is a threatening ability. Once this goes to a threatening Pokemon, it is dangerous. Sure, Salamence has Intimidate and Moxie but Rough Skin> Intimidate or Moxie. Garchomp has less disappointing points from what I see.
Who do you like more? They are both great Pokemons to have but I prefer Garchomp more. I like its design and stats more than Salamence. But from my likes, Garchomp and Salamence pwns Dragonite for sure.

Who has the better design? Garchomp looks far more unique whilst Mence is just a dragon.
Who would win in a battle? Garchomp outspeeds and kos.
Who is more useful? In 5th gen Salamence because its abilities allow much more versatility but in gen 4 Garchomp by far. It was like "Bring him in, sub, 6-0".
Who do you like more? Garchomp because it used to be just so mindbogglingly good and looks very cool.

Scarfmence is just so awesome, + I love Salamences design. My vote goes to Salamence :D

Garchomp due to its creative look. Salamence is just a regular dragon.

Who would win in a battle?
Probably Garchomp. Most of the attacks are physical. There won't be many special attacks.
Garchomp; hp 108, attack 130, defense 95, speed 102
Salamence; hp 95, attack 135, defense 80, speed 100
While their attack and speed points are almost identical, Garchomp has the edge on hp and defense. Also I think Garchomp movepool is a bit more useful.

Garchomp. But it's almost a tie. Salamence is pretty awesome, too.

Who do you like more?
Garchomp. But again Salamence is on par with Garchomp once more.

Who has the better design?
Garchomp, it looks so much like its pre-evolutions and reminds me a lot of a land shark. Its colors and fin design are much better than Salamence's overall design imo.

Who would win in a battle?
Garchomp, it has a better moveset, and during Sandstorms is a tough Pokemon to beat in battle with its high evasion and Attack.

Who is more useful?
Garchomp for both in-game and and Sandstorm teams. I used it a lot in run-throughs, more than Salamence.

Who do you like more?
Garchomp, all in all I like its line a lot and especially Garchomp itself.
