(I excluded Lugia since its a legendary and because I love Ho-oh more ^.^)

Therefore My choice will be Xatu.
I find it interesting that all of these Pokemon have interesting abilities. Natu/Xatu has the wonderful Magic Bounce, Woobat and Swoobat has Unaware and Simple, while Sigilyph has Magic Guard. They're an interesting bunch. So, Xatu can reflect status, Swoobat can accumulate better boosts and Sigilyph can increase defences. Xatu probably wouldn't win here, and I don't think Swoobat will either (despite being the fastest within the group), because Sigilyph has a secret weapon: Ice Beam. So, I think Sigilyph will win. Besides, I like Sigilyph better anyway.
I always find Sigilyph to have the most interesting design, because it's more "Aztec" than Xatu could be. It also looks like a flying mask, and its resemblance to the Nazca lines made it all the more interesting. What's even more amazing is that it's considered an animal, so can mate with other Pokemon, which is an oddity because it looks more like a symbol rather than a bird. It's stranger than Unown, that's for sure. In both the design and originality, definitely Sigilyph.
Fortune-telling? Nah...all of them are not the fortune-telling type to me. Maybe Sigilyph, though.

Which Pokemon would win in battle?
-I think Swoobat has a 30% potential here of OHKOing Xatu and Sigilyph with Shadow Ball. But if Sigilyph survives, it can definitely 95% OHKO them with Ice Beam. It's a toss up between Swoobat and Sigilyph for me.
Which has the best design?
-I adore Natu's design. It's simple and strange at the same time. It has a subtle level of awkwardness. It's narrow gap eyes, quirky beak and round body. It reminds me of this weird bird toy I used to have.
Which is the most original?
-Hmmm.. All of them look very original to me, except Woobat. It reminds me so much of the Morrigan's flying eye creatures and Karazu's (Yuyu) flying eye bombs.
Which would you go for a fortune-telling?
-Whoever charges the lowest.
Which Pokemon do you like the most?
-I love Natu. It's a childhood pokemon (Gen II days).
I've actually never cared too much about these Pokémon, but between them, they each have their merits. Natu/Xatu have an interesting motif, the Woobat line is adorable in a way, and... I'm actually not too sure about Sigilyph. So he's out.
Of them all, I like Natu/Xatu more for having interesting origins and solid designs. Besides, I'm more familiar with those two after all these years. Between those, I actually think that Natu is pretty cute, but Xatu has that authoritative "tribe chief" look. At the moment I prefer Natu, but that is subject to change.
I'm going with sigilyph. With a life orb and magic guard, that thing is a beast.

Xatu,but I chose Woobat for it's awesome design and the second coolest Japanese names ever. Swoobat holds the throne.
I've got to admit, Natu and Xatu get points for being based on totem poles, but Sigilyph is based on the Nazca Lines and protects an ancient city. There's also the fact that Sigilyph has the highest special attack of the three families.
