Thread: Pidgey vs Hoothoot vs Taillow vs Starly vs Pidove

I chose Hoothoot, because I love Hoothoot.

Technically though, Pidgey is the regional bird for Johto as much as Kanto. Hoothoot / Noctowl are counterpart to Spearow / Fearow.

I prefer Taillow. Mainly because its evolution is Swellow, which's very fast and actually useful in the metagame unlike most of the others.
And please, fans from the others, I said ''most'', not ''all'' so don't get offended as people usually get with me.

Taillow. I like its design and its stats.

Would win in a battle? Pidgey

Is just plain the awesomest? Pidgey!!

Considering only the base-forms, the best one to me is Taillow, because it has a nice design.
But considering the evolutions, it is a tie between Staraptor and Unfezant.

I'll go with the first scenario, so Taillow gets my vote.

I choose Pidove. While I don't know which one of these five would win if they would duke it out, Pidove is my favorite out of all of them. It's based on a pigeon (I'm somehow obsessed with pigeons), and that alone is enough to make me like it.

I would have to go with Starly just for the simple fact that I love Staraptor but Pidgey comes in at a close second. Also shouldn't Spearow be on this poll as well?

I was wondering where Pidove was - I'm not use to its Japanese name.... Pidove/Mamepato for me, Unova has the most awesome looking Pokemon around, Unfezant (male) looks the coolest, aside from that, not too much into bird Pokemon

I picked Starly, because Staravia's on my team and it's cool.
But I also love Taillow. Wish I could've voted twice.

Taillow line is my favourite as they have an attractive colour scheme, cool streamlined designs and great stats and abilities.

As a standalone, I really like Hoothoot though. It's so unique looking compared to the other birds, and I like the way they incorporated clock features into the design. Too bad it becomes so bland when it evolves.

For some reason I just hate Pidove's design and especially its evolution's they just look bad. That's why I have Swanna as my flying pokemon :D anyways Taillow is pretty cool and I like Starly too both are great :D
