Ninjask has better typing, but I'm going with Yanmega because it's cuter and it's shiny form is cooler than the ninja bee's.

Yanmega is way better IMO

I have to get in on this. First, to compare stats.

Since Yanmega is a Special Attacker, we will compare Yanmega's Special Attack to Ninjask's Special Defence.

Since Ninjask is all about the physical attacks, Ninjask's Attack will be compared to Yanmega's Defence.

Then relative Speed and HP will be compared side by side.

Yanmega has base Special Attack of 116.
Ninjask has base Special Defence of 50.
Difference of 66, advantage Yanmega.

Ninjask has base Attack of 90.
Yanmega has base Defence of 86.
Difference of 4, advantage Ninjask.

Ninjask has base Speed of 160
Yanmega has base Speed of 95
Difference of 65, advantage Ninjask.

Yanmega has base HP of 86.
Ninjask has base HP of 61.
Difference of 25, advantage Yanmega.

As we can all see here, Yanmega is better at taking hits from Ninjask with superior defenses and HP. However, Ninjask completely outclasses Yanmega in the Speed department.

Now for attacks:
Yanmega has access to a move that devastates Bug/Flying-Types, the Rock-Type move Ancient Power. With a Base Power of 60 and the 4x type advantage, we are talking a 240 power level combined with Yanmega's great Special Attack stat. Also, new updates give it a 100% accuracy rate.

The only move Ninjask has against a fellow Bug/Flying-Type is the TM40 move Aerial Ace, with a Base Power of 60 as well. However, this move gets only a 2x power boost plus STAB, for a total of 180 power level.

Head to head, a Focus Sash Ninjask can use it's low defenses to gain a Swords Dance, boosting its Aerial Ace to a whopping 360 power level. Then Ninjask can utilize it's superior speed for a OHKO. But if the Yanmega survives or also has a Focus Sash, Yanmega will prevail.

So, in conclusion, Yanmega is the better Battler.

I like Ninjask, but Yanmega has a cooler design, better stats, and a better movepool.

I say Ninjask. Don't get me wrong, I like Yanmega, but Ninjask's a useful, simple Baton Passer, and it can destroy with a surprising Swords Dance attacking set.

I would have to say Ninjask. I like its design over Yanmega's. I guess you could say... *puts glasses on*

guys, just so ya know, most yanmega will not carry a rock type attack, and will be destroyed by ninjask. theres a reason ninjasks a tier above him

Huh. My Yanmega always carries Ancient Power. (Before I got serious, even. I just liked how it looked.)

no one in competitve battleing would ever carry aincent power. the battle would end the same way, anyway

I've seen people in competitive battling carrying Ancient Power, though mostly to defend against Fire-Type Pokemon.

Also, If there are no Items, Ninjask doesn't have as good a chance of winning.

AND Ninjask is a tier above for Baton Passing. I agree that Ninjask is a great lead, but it is lacking as a Sweeper.
