Who's your favorite, Mewtwo or Lucario?

Who has a cooler design?

Lucario , Mewtwo looks like a rip-off of Frieza and Giegue(from Earthbound) while Lucario looks like a wolf warrior.

Who's better in battling?

Mewtwo.

Who's better to play as in Brawl?

Lucario , he is more deserving , he is also a unique character in Brawl due to his ability to get stronger as he takes damage and not as light as Mewtwo.

What else about them do you think is better?

Movies .

Lucario has the best Pokemon movie and there are people who agree . Mewtwo's movie is overrated garbage that doesn't deserve any praise , the moral "fighting is wrong" made it worse that it is . Pokemon is about creatures that battle each other . That's like having a Jewish vegetarian going to a BBQ and eating all the pork chops in sight.

Only if you watch the dub. The original version has a much better aesop about the clones having a right to live.

Mewtwo, because his movies have deep story and plot in them. Mewtwo also have a lot of story round him compared to other Pokemon, like The Birth of Mewtwo on CD. I also like psychic powers over fighting-type. The Lucario movie wasn't bad though. I would really like to see the a complete movie with that army of Pokemon you see in the beginning. But Lucario as a character is none of my favorites. Then Entei in the third movie is more interesting.

Who would win in a battle?: Mewtwo, due to the type advantage and in terms of the anime....

When it comes to type-disadvantages or immunity to their own type, what is it?: Lucario. It is weak to three things like Mewtwo, but Lucario is not affected by poison. Mewtwo is taken down due to the many bug-types.... WAY too many bug-types....


Edit: Sorry! Anyway, I voted for Mewtwo. I never had Brawl or Melee or any of that, but I wish.

Mewtwo. Lucario is the most over rated pokemon ever. Battling wise, no question. Looks wise, I prefer Lucario but that doesent really matter

Lucario is cute and can be a fantastic offensive Pokemon if used correctly, but my vote automatically goes to Mewtwo on this one. Mewtwo back in Gen 1 was the most powerful Pokemon of all time and had a mean impressive appearance that just sort of imprinted on me since then.

I don't know why Mewtwo is one of my favourites, but the First movie and catching one in Cerulean Cave back in the day may have something to do with that :p

Mewtwo is a hax poke.

...besides, I hold a personal grudge against Mewtwo - I had spent THREE HOURS in Cerulean Cave just to get to him, and that was WITH the guidebook AND Max Repels. For some reason, the stupid game slowed down inside the cave, and I got mad at Mewtwo...

As for Lucario, well, he's never been much a bother getting. (free egg XDD)

When the two literally fight, Mewtwo would have the advantage considering it is a Psychic-Type and it knows a wide array of Psychic-Type moves. But Lucario knows a few Dark-Type moves, mainly Bite, Crunch and Dark Pulse so Mewtwo will crumble when Lucario knows at lease one of these moves.

I don't believe this needs further explanation.

There's no point really comparing these two in battle. When both are at full-health Mewtwo is both faster and has Aura Sphere, which equal a KO'd Lucario. One's Uber and the others OU, so it's pretty clear which one would win in a fight.

Even besides that fact I'd still prefer Mewtwo. In my opinion he's way cooler.

How does that make sense Mewtwo would knock Lucario in one turn so those moves would have no use why even compare them in a battle with each other a decently trained Mewtwo would curb stomp any Lucario

Neither of them is a favorite of mine, but overall I prefer Mewtwo over Lucario. Still, my vote was "I don't care".

Not really a fan of humanoid Pokémon, but I guess Lucario has a better design, mainly because it is blue/black jackal instead of a white/pink/purple/whatever giant cat-like fetus. Plus, Mewtwo is just a rip-off of Giygas (and people say that the newer Pokémon are uncreative lol).

I don't really play with Lucario in Brawl and wait, isn't Mewtwo only in Melee?
