Meganium and Torterra don't have too much in common aside from their good physical bulk, their Grass Starter status and the fact that their games run concurrent to each other. Still, that alone can be enough to compare them. There's not really much to say about these two. Meganium has better overall bulk, Special Attack stat and speed, but Torterra has better physical Attack stat, a wider movepool and a unique typing. It's up to you to decide which of them has the better tools at their disposal.

I prefer Meganium, she is my 6th favorite Pokemon, after all. I also think she'd win in a battle due to her type advantage, her access to Grass Knot and her resistance of both of Torterra's STAB. That said, I do like Torterra a lot. He's also in my top 10 and, to be honest, he's the more useful one of the two. Meganium's movepool just lets her down hard when it matters and Torterra has access to an excellent secondary type. Still voting for Meganium though.

Again, the one that's green.

Torterra wins my vote because I like it more than the flower dino.

Torterra. He is also part ground type, and is stronger overall.

This is a tough one.

Torterra gets my vote because it looks awesome, its ground typing, its attack stat.

The only reason I have a feeling of regret for Meganium is because I still don't have one, so it's unfair if I vote against it. also, it doesn't look threatening like torterra, so it's refreshing in a final starter evo.

Like Torterra more but Meganium would win in a fight.

Meganium has a better design, but Torterra has access to STAB Ground-type moves.

Meganium, she's my favorite grass starter as well. Sure, she may not exactly be a powerhouse, but she's more meant for a support position than anything else.

Torterra. I like turtles, and I hate Meganium.
