Thread: Medicham vs Lucario

Ok, since, sadly toxicroak lost to lucario in the polls, and Medicham beat Hitmontop... the final round is going to begin.

same rules as my other threads about these two.

who would win, who fits the fighting type theme better, and who do you prefer for a team?

Personally, as you all prolly know by now, I love medicham over all other fighting types. it beats lucario both attack wise(with pure power) and type wise, aswell as outclassing its defense. and with power trick it's god-like defense becomes deadly attack.

So... with that said who do you choose?

Medicham, pure power.

precisely. i dont think ppl are taking that into account. there just voting for lucario because it has a better public image

im talking without items. and technically you only use a focus sash if you know your pokemon sucks to much to take a hit from a beast like medicham

Unfortunately there will be people who disagree and think Lucario is just such a 1337 poke and that there is no topping it. But I guess that is just one thing that makes everyone different from each other. A situation like this can be proved but not resolved, because everyone is entitled to there own opinion. Rant over :p

Hmmm, let's take a look at Medicham's and Lucario's stats, shall we?

Medicham: Max Hp - 324 / Max SpD - 273 / Speed - 284
Lucario: Max Hp - 344 / Max SpA - 361 / Spedd - 306

Granted, Medicham's ability makes it a fearsome oponent, and with Hi Jump Kick ( 130 ) Lucario is done forever.

But Lucario's Special attack is excelent, and it has enough speed to outrun Medicham ( with a neutral speed, of course )

To make my argument short: Medicham destroys Lucario if it's not destroyed by Shadow Ball first, basically.

Sadly that is true. But may this be a message to all OU and uber abusers: my medicham has never fainted once from any lucario. wether its NPC or wifi. Im just glad that for once theres been a karmac shift between UU disadvantages and OU advantages

Lucario is just a Pokémon that is only popular because of the anime. Like stupid Charizard, there are lots of Pokémon better than it. SO yeah, Medicham.

Ooo... my two favorite Fighting Types. Lucario is epic, but Medicham was here first...

Exactly. hmm i just think ppl should try training UUs and NUs before they instantly decide that the OU is better.
