Thread: Magikarp vs Feebas

I like Feebas more because it can learn TMs and Milotic is cooler.

Magikarp because you don't need a horrible and contrived method of evolving it. Seriously, screw stat-based evolutions. >C

Also, Magikarp is easier to obtain, and Gyarados is awesome and will kill you all. Besides, a properly raised Magikarp can lay waste to its opponents. I love that ragefish. <3

The difference, you can't win battles a Gyarados could with a Magikarp. You can win any contest Milotic could with a Feebas.
Teaching us all that beauty is inside or something along these lines.

Well, if it's to decide who gets crowned "Little Miss Ugly", then I vote for both.

I voted Magikarp because of several reasons:
1) Easiest thing to catch/kill in the game
2)The design is so simple
3)I used Gyarados to win ALL the Cool Contests on Pearl. (I stuffed it with spicy poffins, but that's not the point)

Take THAT Feebas/Milotic!!!

Feebas. At least Feebas is rare. Also I like it's evolution better.

Well, Magikarp may be the classic, comical pokemon that people have loved for generations, but Feebas is capable of learning TMs. Thanks to Magikarp's rather-high-for-a-measly-fish Defense, it will probably win if well-trained enough. On the other hand, this is pretty unlikely. It would probably last for 100 turns until one of the fish's Struggle knocks itself out, but I can't say anything until I saw each one's stats. On the other hand, I like Milotic a little better than Gyarados, so Feebas gets my vote.

Magikarp is cooler...

I think Feebas looks slightly better than Magikarp.

Magikarp has some acceptable Defense, but it also has a craptastic Sp. Defense that Feebas can easily pick on.

Feebas. Just because I love Milotic.

Magikarp, because Feebas is a bitch to catch (still need to find one of those little bastards on my games.)

I chose Feebas.
It might be hard to find, but I found a shiny Carvanha while looking for it in Ruby. Another thing is that it learns TMs, unlike our red carp. Though I think I like Gyarados better (in terms of design and in battle), but we're not here to discuss evolutions right? So i picked feebas.

Magikarp, the original useless pokemon. I don't see people selling you feebass for 500 dollars in B&W.

I chose Feebas because of it's movepool. Plus, Milotic OWNS. Though, I like Gyarados more, because it killed everything on HeartGold, and mine, because it was so good, is now Lvl. 100.
