Kanto VS Johto VS Hoenn VS Sinnoh VS Unova

kanto is really not great for me it had average pokemon designs overall and to make to make worse they get criminally overused in every game every ever made since then, the one issue i have with SS/HG is the lack of johto pokes you cant even catch houndour or murkrow till you enter kanto ? made no sense. Hoenn is just amazing i kinda grew up with it despite the fact iwas around since gen 1 and hoenns what really got me into the games, I rerember how exctied i was watchng it every weekend plus my first ever game was emerald. good times

Hoenn for me no contest love so many of them

Which region has the best Gym Leaders and Elite 4?
Johto good gyms but crappy elite 4.. Sinnoh is my fav eilte 4

It wasn't much tough for me to decide. I have been a Pokemon fan since 1997, it seems like Kanto and Johto along the way started getting a bit old for me (with the exception of Meowth and Persian of course), Johto didn't really introduced Pokemon I enjoyed (only Furret, and no new cats). Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova remain my favorites.

Pokemon: Both Unova and Sinnoh have the large percentage of my favorite Pokemon. Both regions have so much to explore. My favorite Pokemon are based on their real-world counterparts of which I like the most (a.k.a. my favorite animals).

Games: I have not played in Sinnoh, I really loved Unova, I also had a good time with Hoenn (I have Black2 on DS, and all other GBA games on emulator)

Anime: I love the regions with Contest, so it would have to be Hoenn and Sinnoh

For my favorites: 50% Unova, 30% Sinnoh, 15% Hoenn, 4% Kanto, 1% Johto = 100% Pokemon World

Gym Leaders, Unova has them, Elite 4 I struggled the most with Hoenn

(well, thats my opinion)

Sinnoh for me. It was awesome with the mountains and green scenery and also the large oceans Sinnoh just had everything. Team Galatic was evil wanting to build a new world and all. The Elite Four was exceptionally hard especially Cynthia the Champion. Heck we even had another world the Distorion World with Giratina! It was just perfect. It also had epic starters like Torterra, Infernape and Empoleon and the types that came along with them were even more unique espeically Empoleon! It also introduced the best Flying Type there can be Staraptor. It had epic Dragon Pokemon and is the proud owner of the greatest pokemon ever. Arceus. To me Sinnoh will always be the best region for me.
