Infernape vs Enbuoo

The monkey versus the pig. Who will win?

Y'know, when Gen IV rolled around and I first took a look at the monkey, I swore there was nothing GF could ever do to make me like the thing. That still holds true to this day, but the pig's presence has made me reevaluate my least favorite Pokemon of all time.

The monkey still sucks, in my opinion, but I'm honestly torn. I don't know who sucks more. It's interesting because this has been the hardest vote I've ever had to cast. I can't choose between my two least favorite Pokemon. So, after flipping a coin, I decided to go for the monkey. Ugh, I really hate this matchup

I love my Ganonpork. I don't care about the Fire/Fighting typing. He looks awesome, and he's strong. Even though I only have Chaobuu right now, Ganonpork will be awesome, and he's my favorite of the Isshu starters. Infernape...no. I agree with Envoy, except Infernape's my second most-hated Pokemon. Grotle is the one I despise the most, but that's for a different thread...

Enbuoo is really cool, but 'nape has better stat distribution.

I still kinda hate Infernape, but Enbuoo... I'm just about ready to post a blog about why it sucks so much.

Infernape has a decent movepool, but I don't like its stats. Enbuoo is just a joke that's gotten too old. If they give it an awesome moveset, sweet TM capabilities, and good stats (and the English name Haminator), I'll forgive them. For now. If they do Fire/Fighting starters ever again, I will destroy the GameFreak HQ.

I had to go with the monkey. Yes it's a Blaziken repeat, but the pig was not only a type recycle for the third time in a row, but it was apparently inspired by the same thing the monkey was. So not only was the monkey a Blaziken rip off, but the pig was a monkey rip off.

Their both rip-offs of Blaziken. however, i say Infernape because it's a lot better than Enbuoo

I'll have to go with Infernape, as it was the first Blazakin ripoff/clone, and it actually looks part fighting type, as Enbuoo doesn't even look like it's Fighting Type. :/

Haters gonna hate...

I'll pick Embuoo because I feel sorry for it and because I hate Chimchar.

Yeah, Infernape wins this one. I don't see Enbouu being that useful but Infernape can atleast claim to do what it was meant to do that being replacing pre-Gen V Blaziken.

Enbouu can't do shit.

It's interesting to note that both of these Pokemon got the exclusive abilities for Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee respectively as Dream World abilities, now that I thought about it.

Maybe I should have worded that differently.

But anyway, Enbouu has the attacking stats but not enough speed to effectively use it. It has the HP but not enough defenses.

I'm no expert but I do think that Enbouu is going to have a hard time proving its worth iin battle.

Furthermore, it has to compete with both Blaziken and Infernape for a team spot. In a metagame that's all about hitting hard and fast, these two Pokemon are going to prove much more useful than Enbuoo by miles. Sorry to say, but Enbuoo just can't cut it. Like Jaroda, it has all the right stats in all the wrong places to actually be able to succeed.
