    Default Houndoom vs. Starmie

    Who would win? Their types are both technically super-effective against each other and they both have realitively high stats.

    Starmie would win. She's faster and she can Surf Houndoom before he gets a chance to strike back. Also, she can Recover.

    All's not lost for the hellhound though. He does get priority Sucker Punch, which does give him an edge.

    In terms of who my favorite is, both Pokemon are awesome. Houndoom however, is in my top 5 favorite all time Pokemon while Starmie makes it to the top 20. So in this category, Houndoom for me.

    Eh, I prefer Starmie. It has a better movepool and it has always been one of my all-time favorites.
