Thread: Hoenn Battle Frontier or Sinnoh Battle Frontier

Some of the Hoenn Brains have some of the blandest outfits ever so I'm going for Sinnoh for Brains. Yet Hoenn's facilities are much more challenging, so it's really a cross for me.

I vote Hoenn I like challenges

Sinnoh. The Battle Tower was more challenging.

Hoenn. Not only was it the original, it was also the most expansive and varied frontier of all.

Where's the poll? Anyway, Hoenn. Really it's a no brainer, Hoenn had better Frontier brains, it was original, and it was bigger/ more of a challenge.

Hoenn was the original so it gets my vote...if there was one

Hoenn due to the sheer overwhelmingness of the first time there. Seven different facilities to conquer, and conquering each was quite the journey. The whole place seemed 'alive.'

Hoenn forevah! Had better facilities, had more challenge and was, better overall. C'mon, the Battle Arcade is a joke.

Hoenn had a dancing Sudowoodo.
That alone is enough reason for it to be infinitely superior.

But more seriously, it felt more like an in-game location... More alive rather than just a mostly gameplay place. It truly felt like part of the game that you HAD to do.

Gen IV on the other hand is more like just a place to have something to keep playing.

I liked more the Hoenn challenges too.

Although I never did get the chance to really go to any frontier, Hoenn's frontier brains look more challenging and original.

This, pretty much. Also, the Hoenn Battle Frontier wasn't let down by being copy/pasted in another Region where it shouldn't even exist (At least, if they were going to make such a half-assed effort as they did). So yeah, Hoenn Battle Frontier by far.

Hoenn is my preferred Battle Frontier, because I liked the challenges more than Sinnoh's.

Hoenn. Better challenges (and more of them), and better music by far. Especially the Frontier Brains battle theme. That's still up there as my favorite Pokemon music of all time.

Ability, brave, guts, knowledge, luck, spirit and tatic. Everything a trainer needs. Very creative.

It had the better Frontier Brain theme IMO, and somehow the atmosphere when facing a Hoenn Frontier Brain just owns the atmosphere when facing a Sinnoh one. (You actually felt like you would have to really fight in order to win.)
...and I also like the personalities of the Hoenn Brains. They came off as sounding smug and arrogant at times... Adding more fuel to wanting to defeat them.
The Sinnoh brains are cool too... just not as much.
