The Punching King versus the Kicking Lord. Hitmontop always seemed like a "third option" type of thing to me, so that's why I included him in the poll, but these two are the real rivals.

I'll take Hitmonchan. I always liked him better, even when he was useless. I dunno why, I just do.
Hitmonlee. Better attack and speed and just full of win
Hitmonlee all the way. Like I said, any thing/person related to Bruce Lee earns my respect. And it learns Blaze Kick and Mach Punch.
hehe, missing an I on that last [/img]. Ive been wanting this one! Almost made it the other day, I got with Hitmonchan since I like all the punching moves.
I prefer Hitmonchan. I guess it's just mainly his design that I like, though.

Hitmonlee... just barely. I don't know why, I just like him better.
Im just pointing out, Design-wise, I like Hitmontop. But battlewise, I prefer using Hitmonchan.
Hitmonchan because it can learn the elemental punches, while Hitmonlee can't.
