    Default Haxorus Vs Druddigon

    vs.

For the first entry in my new Contest-for-Every-Other-WeekDay-Challenge!, I bring you Haxorus Vs Druddigon, the two pure Dragon types from Generation V! Who will win in terms of...

    Looks?

    Battling?

    All Around Coolness?

For me, it's Haxorus. He looks cool, he's got stats I don't know (don't know Druddigons either...), and he has pre-evolutions. Druddigon started off as hideous to me, but I've warmed up to him since. Unfortunately, he still can't beat my favorite Pokémon of this generation.

Ononokus for me. Its design is better, great attack stat (147), and it got a better movepool.

Ononokus is awesome, and it evolves from the adorable Kibago. However, it's outclassed competetively by Sazandora, while Crimgan can get that jerk in Trick Room.

    Still, Ononokus looks awesome.

Ononokus[u] isn't outclassed by Sazandora. Onono is just (or mostly, rather) another physical Ddancer--so, if anything, his competition is mostly composed of Dragonite, Salamence, Kingdra [X], Ttar [X], and Gyarados (and Zuruzukin?). Sazo breaks the mold as far as non-uber Dragons go, who mostly can be compared only with Salamence (though Dragonite has two decent attack stats and is very defensive, between Roost and Multi-Scale).

I like both Pokemon, they both have 4 very useable regular abilities, and optimal stat total distributions. Ono takes the cake though--he's one of my favorites this gen, because he was revealed pretty early.

Feel free(r) to discuss Battle Strategy with me--I'll discuss anything really.

Besides being a strange (retired) battler with a storied, legendary, mythical, exaggerated, and relatively unknown career, I am also an amateur English B&W anime reviewer. (pachiba, you like?)

    And I take hoedowns seriously.

Ononokus, definetely. Its got better stats, looks cool and its shiny form is just plain awesome. I do like the idea of using Crimgan for Trick Room, however.

Ononokus can kick Crimgan's butt any day of the week.
    Plus better design.

I personally prefer Ononokus, due to stats, move pool, and design.

Ononokus is such a monster I've swept many a team with mine in Pokemon Online.

As much as I like Kibago, its evolution doesn't do justice for me. I don't dislike it, but I feel somewhat meh about it.

Crimgan, on the other hand, I adore. His design is lovely, even if the colour scheme isn't the best. His shiny one, well, shines, though.

Plus, from my little Gen V competitive experience he doesn't behave half bad in combat, especially with Trick Room support. His Outrage can be quite deadly (not as much as Ononokus', but oh well).

Here's the Sugimori artwork for both Pokémon:

Crimgan's design is extremely different from what I've seen before, which makes him more desirable to me.

Crimgan's pitifully slow. There's no chance of surviving Ono's Outrage,
