Thread: Gallade VS Heracross

Gallade and Heracross:

Anyhow, I'm not comparing these to Lucario, for obvious reasons.
Here you have Gallade and Heracross. In my opinion, they're one of the two best Pokemon in the game, due to their huge attack (base 125 for both) and good overall stats.
Gallade has access to Trick, as well as STAB Psychic moves and Ice Punch and Stone Edge combo.
Heracross has access to an amazingly powerful Megahorn, as well as Close COmbat (which Gallade technically has) and other nice attacks like Night Slash.

So, who...
Would win in a one on one fight?
Would be the best team player in-game? Competitively?
Better design?
Who do you prefer?
I'm trapped, but I'm edging towards Gallade. I'm still not sure whether to get one in HG or get a Heracross earlier, but Gallade's awesome movepool and good Attack and Special Defense pull him ahead.

Overall I prefer Gallade, but Heracross is good too!

I prefer Gallade in stats and ability.

Gallade has a much wider movepool. Say hello to the Elemental Punches, Leaf Blade, Drain Punch, Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Hypnosis, and Trick.

I prefer Gallade's design and movepool.

I love Gallade's movepool, typing, stats and design; plus it's one of my favourite pokemon.

Gallade, although I do like heracross...

Heracross. One of the few bugs that dont piss me off in Pokemon.

Heracross. It helped me out a lot through my mess ups in the games. Also Close combat is epic.

Don't forget though, Gallade learns Close Combat as well.

They're both favorites, but I prefer Gallade.

Heracross and his horn of awesomeness gets my vote this time.

Horn of Justice wins this fight. I prefer Heracross over Gallade anyways.

This is a very difficult choice for me, Although I have come to the decision that I shall pick GenII's beloved megahorn bug.

Dunno about competitive, but in-game I love using Gallade. Got one on HG and was very pleased.

Gallade wins, though by no means do I hate Heracross. Just like the Mon with swords for arms more.
