Thread: Follow Me VS Rage Powder

In this move thread, we have Follow Me and Rage Powder, two moves that work in Double Battles to draw enemy attacks towards the user and away from the partner.

Which do you prefer?

Follow Me for... me, XD. It has better, more durable, more supportive users; namely, Clefable. Plus, I'm not used to Rage Powder yet. Haha.

I'm gonna go with Follow Me, too. The Finger, it's capable users, and my inexperience with either, but more so with Anger Powder. Anger Powder, however, has users in the Bug/Grass typing who are very fragile to attacks; though, I could see a strategy of using a Pokemon with a contact-hazard ability (that is, if they survive the attack).

I like Angry Powder for having a better name and better move distribution.

Let's see...
Follow Me's users: Clefable, Furret, Togekiss, Mr. Mime, Electivire, Magmortar, Lucario and Pachirisu
Anger Powder's users: Butterfree, Parasect, Jumpluff, Morobareru, Ulgamoth, Venomoth, Tangrowth, Ariados and Carnivine.

Follow Me's best users are Clefable and Togekiss, and possibly Mr. Mime, but all the others are either more offensive (like Magmortar and Lucario) or doesn't have much to defend with (Pachirisu and Furret). Anger Powder's possibly best users are Morobareru (mushroom), Tangrowth, and Ulgamoth, and most users are not offensive, but perform support options better (Butterfree/Jumpluff uses Sleep Powder, Venomoth uses Butterfly Dance, etc.).

I am going for Anger Powder on this one, because I like the name, and the users look like they have the potential to use it better, compared to the two best users of Follow Me.
