On topic: I prefer ice beam (before its animation sucked) but find thunderbolt to be useful.

Ice Beam because I always use it. I hardly ever have fire type pokes.

Flamethrower. Dunno why, maybe because I like the Fire type.

Ice beam is my fav. I like the gen IV animation of it, and it has great coverage.

It depends on what kind of Pokemon I'm going up against. XP

well, I've used Thunderbolt the most (you can thank my Pikachu for that) But IceBeam is awesome to freeze and beats the crap out of Lance's Pokemon.

I really dont know which one too choose.

This is very hard, as there are all great moves and are all very useful. But, I'm going with Ice Beam because of its strenght against Dragon types.

In terms of looks, Thunderbolt.

In terms of usability, It's a tie between Thunderbolt and Ice Beam. T-bolt hits water types very hard along with flying. Ice Beam, however is one of the only moves that can hit Dragon types for super effective dagame, along with Grass and Ground.

In terms of status: A tie between T-bolt and Flamethrower. It's hard to choose which is better, as it depends on what posistion that you are in. Half damage for physical, or Paralized. It is too hard to choose.

But since the T-bolt was on all of the topics answered, I vote for it.

Ice Beam is one of my favorite moves, and I love it's animation.

Freeze > Burn > Paralysis

becuase flamethrower can burn ur opponents and if u used it as a field it would become a fire field

Flamethrower beats them all.

Thunderbolt, it's one of the few types that is super effective on Water, and gets good coverage because it's only resisted by Ground, Grass, and itself.
