    Default Filter vs Solid Rock

Let's get more ability poll running! I wanted to do an Agility vs Rock Polish, but someone done it before I can put it, but oh well, there's always this. We have two same abilities with different names this time. If you don't know what both abilities does, they reduce super effective hits, so it's nice for reducing the damage.

    So, what will it be?

    I picked Filter.

Solid Rock is especially useful on a Rhyperior. Especially since it's double weak to like, everything.

Filter. It name makes more sense. Just because a rock is solid doesn't mean it should take less damage.

Morgan, Cordelia and Severa are best family :3

You do realize that two of the pokemon that learn Solid Rock are both Double Weak to water? And Rhyperior is Double weak to Grass as well.

Mr. Mime and its baby pre-evo are the only pokes to learn Filter. Not double weak to anything. Yeah, totally makes more sense.

That is a very bad counterargument for why what I said wouldn't be true, as I didn't talk about that. I'm just saying, what sounds more logical to you? Super effective moves being less effective because they went through a Filter? Or them being less effective because they went through a (solid) rock? The first one of course, because it makes no sense why hydro canon, which is super effective on rock anyway, would be stopped by a rock, while it does make sense for things to be stopped by a filter (that's what a filter does after all).

Solid Rock. Those that have it actually need it.

Solid Rock is good, because it makes Camerupt and Rhyperior much more use-able.
