Thread: Entei vs Arcanine

Who would win?
Which would you use?
Who is more useful?

I say Arcanine because Entei's movepool is terrible. Plus, Arcanine has intimidate, which is an awesome ability.

Entei for having a beter design, and he would win.

There's something I've always hated about Entei, so Arcanine for me.

Arcanine is the better Pokemon. Design-wise and battle-wise.

Arcanine is more usefull and would win, and I like it more. In battle I might actually try Entei though, because no one else does :3

I just love the kind of star thing on enetei's face, and that beard thing he's got goin on.
Although I do love arcanine.

It's so hard to choose...both may have crappy stats, but they both have great designs in my book. I'll go with Entei because Pokemon 3 is one of my favorite Pokemon movies.

Entei. It has a better movepool, and can learn Eruption. The most powerful fire move in the game. Arcanina can only learn one after evolution. Extremespeed. Also, Entei has better EVs than Arcanine.

Dangit! Entei is a BAMF, but Arcanine as a Pokemon was my first favorite...

I'm going with Entei...

I picked Arcanine, although I pitied Entei. Arcanine has nice physical moves (Flare Blitz and ExtremeSpeed being the prominent ones) and some good support moves too (Roar and Morning Sun comes to mind), although Entei is a Legendary and (I think) can learn Extremespeed (in event) and Flare Blitz (event also) too.

Definitely Arcanine! Never liked Entei much. He's my least favorite of the johto trio.
