Almost all of the groups had been explored now, and two of them are Plant and Water 1. Featuring the Grass-exclusive Grass group (sounds redundant) and aquatic animals Water 1 Group! Now it's time to pit these two together and find out who's the victor! However, unlike the previous ones, one family is under both groups, which means that if you are making your judgement, you cannot base your decision on that family. That family in question? Ludicolo's family. Let's get answering! But before that...there are the following questions you may answer:

I do not like grass types much.

And Water 1 has some very creative pokemon, like Dragonite and Milotic. So I'm choosing Water 1

Damn, this is a tough one... I honestly love both groups.

But I'm going with plant, mainly because of passing down Oddish families' Petal Dance to other Pokemon, and it's always been one of my favorite moves even if it confuses the user.

Water 1. All my favorite water types are in it, and water is my favorite type. Although Meganium and Breloom are making a pretty strong case for the Plant family.

I like both. Water 1 houses most of my favorite Water Pokémon, and Plant has all the Grass Pokémon, which is my favorite Type, and contains several of my top favorite Pokémon, such as Bellossom, Roserade and Lilligant, just to name a few.

I'm glad there's a Both option this time.

Blastoise and Dragonite in one group? Then that group is clearly superior to everything.

Water 1, I don't use the Pokémon in the other group that much.

I don't play competitive.

Probably Plant, based on type.

The Pokémon I like in Water 1 are more than the ones I like in Plant, so I pick Water 1.

I'm choosing Plant . I like Serperior better than Dragonair and Milotic .

Water 1 just for Politoad.

Probably Plant, although water's pretty good too. (Dragonite FTW)

Plant has a fair number of good Pokémon in it, many of my favorites, and I prefer the Pokémon in that group overall.

  For me, that's a tie. Some Water 1 Pokémon are boring and generic, while a few grass Pokémon aren't very appealing to me, but both have an equal amount of strong designs.

  It could go either way. Fortunately, ingame any Pokémon can overcome any challenge with some training and adaption.
  
  
• Which group is the more useful one competitively?
  
  Water 1. I know tiers aren't perfect, but for the most part a well played Water 1 Pokémon is generally stronger and more useful than a well played Plant. There are exceptions for both, naturally.
  
  
• Which group would win between both of them?
  
  Plant have the type advantage, so yeah. Though due to the fact many, many Water 1 have Ice Beam (and some, like Dragonite, have type advantage), they would put a good fight.
  
  
• Who do you prefer, personally?
  
  Even if I don't use Grass types often, I prefer the Plant egg group overall. Water 1 is nice, too, nevertheless.
