Thread: Dugtrio vs. Excadrill

Dugtrio is what happens when you take a horribly unimaginative idea, then multiply it by 3.

So yeah, Doryuuzu wins.

Doryuuzu. Better stats, better typing, better moves and better design.

Doryuuzu by far. He's by far more creative then Dugtrio (And most Gen I pokemon in that regard as most of them are like Dugtrio) And has better attack plus with the Steel typing ads his defense he would win easy

Doryuuzu. Imma catch one and name it Rufus. And its based on a mole. I LOVE MOLES.

Diglett dig diglett dig....trio trio trio. I'd like to keep my wack-a-mole, thank you very much. A Doryuuzu is fine too, but I like Dugtrio's immaculate speed and Arena Trap.

Yet Doruuy=zu is A lot more usefful because his Stats are higher and His Typing his Better (Ground/Steel is far better then Ground) And Dugtrio is painfully uncreative and badly designed

Doryuuzu! Dungtrio is mysterious, but Doryuuzu is awesomer-er.

Am I not allowed an opinion? I didn't come here to debate, I came here to state which I like more.

I like both a great deal, but it just so happens I prefer Dugtrio.
And don't say just because a Pokemon's simple, it's uncreative. The Pokemon world is a diverse world, meant to have simple and complicated critters.

It's interesting that in the Dex, both Pokemon have the same height (yes, Doryuuzu is really small). But then, I liked Doryuuzu because he's more complete and mole-like.

i have my high hp, high attack pokemon allready, i like my superfast bobble head moleman

and he raises a few choice questions.
how can he use suckerpunch?
how can something 3/4ths of the way underground have massive speed?
When others attack him, why can't he just go underground.


Cause he's a badass. that's why

Doryuzu, because it isn't a generic three-headed evolution and for being part steel.

Plus, its huge claws reminds me of Bakuryu from Bloody Roar.

Excadrill is definitely the more useful Pokemon in most situations, but I personally hate it for being Anime Iris' crutch and for being so overused. Dugtrio's high speed and Arena Trap makes it lethal and immensely satisfying if used right, and Dugtrio's below-par stats means it isn't broken like a Wobbuffet with Shadow Tag is.

Dugtrio gets my vote.

Excadrill by a mile. Dugtrio's design is boring and kinda weak. Excadrill wreaks havoc on everything it gets its hands on, and it looks like a BAMF to boot.
